                          It took me a while to realize
that you and I—
we are like the water and fire.
Like the moon and sun's shine;
we may be in the same sky
but we are not meant
for each other's life.
And so here I am—
releasing your hand.
I accept, to let you go now.
Be someone's light and warmth.
