Through Words

His Words

We might come to the point when we thought that we already knew what to do in certain circumstances.

When we're hurt, we know that we shall take our time to heal and forgive, including ourselves. But even though we already knew what to do, there are really some point that we, unfortunately, can't do it ourselves. We just.. can't.

It is because no matter how much we knew about these things, we couldn't really do it right away. We need to hear some things from other people. We need to hear words from others, than ourselves.

That's why we need His words. No matter how much we thought that we already knew the truth, we still need to listen and be guided by His truth.

I'm not saying that ours aren't important. Yet, we need guidance, motivation, and encouragement from His words...

...as much as from others people's words. We have our friends and families. We should consider their words as important. We need to hear different perspectives before anything else. Or maybe, we just need to hear it first from others before realizing that this is definitely what we should do.

No man is an island. It's cliche as it sounds, but it is the truth.

If we want us to be heard, we should first learn how to listen.

"The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether."
