The Barn

I told myself I wouldn't steal lines from the show again, but like, when do I ever keep my promises?

Steven and the Diamonds were having breakfast together. It was a peaceful morning, and in fact, Greg had decided to join them.

"Thanks for coming, dad!!" Steven said. "It's always awesome having you here!!"

"Always happy to be with you, schtuball," Greg said.

Suddenly, the warp pad activated. Everyone looked over to see a frantic looking Peridot.

"Peridot?" Yellow stood up.

"GUYS!! There's this crazy organic that's screaming at us!!" Peridot yelled. "He's all like, 'what are you doing in my barn?!'"

"Andy..." Greg said in realization.

"What?" Steven looked at him.

"HELP ME FOR STARS SAKE!!" Peridot screamed.

"Calm down, Peridot!! We're coming!!" Blue said.

The entire group warped to the barn. Greg held for dear life onto Steven the entire time. Once they arrived, they saw the airplane parked nearby while Lapis was arguing with the "stranger."

"Andy?!" Greg gasped.

Andy looked over. "Greg!!" He suddenly stopped arguing with lapis. "Great!! You can help me get these weirdos out of my barn!!"

"Uhh, actually, I'm the one who said they could stay here," Greg said.

"You WHAT?!" Andy screamed. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"

"I haven't seen you in years!! I didn't think you'd ever come back!!" Greg argued. "And these guys needed a place to stay. They're alien refugees from a planet called Homeworld-"

"They're illegal aliens!?" Andy screamed.

"Woah woah WOAH!!" Steven stepped in between them. "Dad, who is this?"

"Dad? What do you- no way," Andy's eyes went wide.

"Steven, this is my cousin Andy. Andy, this is my... son," Greg introduced.

"Wow! It's really nice to meet you! Does that mean you're my... first cousin, once removed?" Steven asked.

"Forget that nonsense!" Andy picked up Steven, hugging him. "You call me Uncle Andy. I'm an uncle. I can't believe it."

"Can you please explain what in stars name is going on here?!" Yellow asked, walking over with White and Blue.

"Uhh, who are they?" Andy asked, holding Steven under his armpit.

"We are White, Yellow, and Blue, the matriarchs of the gem empire. And I will inform you that you are holding the son of Pink Diamond," White said.

"Wh~ wha? Gem empire? Pink Diamond?" Andy looked confused.

"Uncle Andy, can you put me down now?" Steven asked.

"Oh yea, sorry, Steven," Andy then put him down. "So, who's this Pink Diamond? You said Steven's her son? Where is she?"

"She's... no longer with us," Blue said somberly.

"Uh, wow. I-I'm sorry. I didn't know," Andy said, putting a hand on Steven's shoulder.

"These people are sort of like her family, so I offered to let these two stay in the barn," Greg said, referring to Lapis and Peridot. "All of these women are from homeworld, and they all live on Earth. Pink did too."
