"Feels good to have my lightning back," Yellow said, feeling the energy coursing through her veins.

Blue and Yellow were hanging out on the beach together. They decided to lift Steven's punishment after coming back from the galaxy warp, so he was off hanging out with Connie.

"Glad to see you're oh so humble about it," Blue smirked.

"Don't act like you weren't screaming in joy when you got your powers back," Yellow said.

"...Fair point," Blue said.

"Hey guys!!" Steven jumped off lion, running over.

"Steven!!" Both of them smiled, looking over.

"How was seeing Connie?" Blue asked.

"It was great!!" Steven said. "You won't believe what I discovered. Lion, come here!!"

Lion walked over. "Watch this." Steven then dived into Lion's mane, disappearing.

"Steven?!" Both Blue and Yellow panicked.

Steven emerged from Lion's mane, gasping for air. He then jumped out, holding out a very familiar pink sword for Blue and Yellow to see. "Check this out!!"

Both of them froze at the sight.

"Oh my stars, is that...?" Blue gasped.

"That's Pink's sword." Yellow said.

"WOAH!! This belonged to my mom?!" Steven looked at it with starry eyes.

"Indeed," Yellow nodded.

"Cool!!" Steven giggled. "Lions fur is full of stuff!! There's this field with this tree, and it's got tons of things in it!!"

"What in the stars are you on about?" Blue asked.

"Stick your head in!! Go look!!" Steven said.

Blue and Yellow looked at each other, then back at Steven.

"Alright," Blue stood up, walking over. She then stuck her head into the mane. About 5 seconds later, she pulled herself out. "That's incredible, Steven!!"

"What's incredible?" Yellow asked.

"There's a little pocket dimension in here!!" Blue said.

"Hm?" Yellow walked over, sticking her head in lions mane. After a couple seconds, she pulled her head out. "That's... quite interesting. Steven, how did you discover this?"

"Lion wouldn't stop lying on my face. It took me a while, but I figured it out!! I can't breathe in there though, so I don't stay long," Steven said. "Me and Connie also went to the big donut, and funland!! So overall, it was a great day."

"That's good," Blue smiled. "Now how about we go inside and have some dinner?"

"Is White joining us?" Steven asked.

Steven, Yellow, and Blue were sitting at the table together, with White noticeably absent.

"Not tonight, sorry," Yellow said.

"Why? Where is she?" Steven asked.

"We... we don't know," Blue said. "She's been gone all day."

Just as she said that, the warp pad activated. They all looked over to see White visibly disgruntled.

"White!! Where were you?" Yellow asked.

"Just... clearing my head," White said, putting on a mechanical smile.

Yellow furrowed her eyebrows. "White."

White sighed, walking over to the table and sitting down. "I... I feel like I'm blind."

"Huh?" Steven looked at her.

"I had gotten so used to not having my powers. But that night, I felt...." White took a deep breath. "I was afraid of the Peridot's intentions. Without my powers, I don't know what anyone intends. I can't truly know what's happening on homeworld without going there myself."

"What do you mean?" Steven asked.

"Let me explain-" White turned to look at Steven. "Us Diamonds, our powers each effect gems in different ways. Blue's powers effects their emotions, Yellow's powers effect their physical form, and mine... I effect the mind. I can read, speak through, and control the mind of any gem I please. I can see, speak, move, and hear through any gem I control."

Steven's eyes widened. "That's... that's SO COOL!! Oh wow, things are starting to make so much more sense- Wait, how does this relate to you not knowing what's going on back on Homeworld?"

"Well..." White looked at Yellow and Blue, who were seemingly just as curious as Steven. She then looked back at Steven. "When I had my powers, I would use them to... essentially spy on anyone I so desire. I could know what was going on anywhere at any given time. Now, I can't. My senses are restricted. I don't know what's going on back home. I didn't realize how much this truly bothered me until, well... Peridot."

White looked to see that Steven, Yellow, and Blue were all staring at her. She suddenly felt anxious.

"Well!!" White stood up, clasping her hands together. "Why don't we have some dessert, yes?"
