White, Yellow, and Blue had just finished a mission and were talking towards the beach house when they saw Steven trying to get a bike down the stairs.
"Steven, what are you doing?" Blue called, hoping he heard her.
"Wha- Oh! Woooh-" The bike began to tumble down the stairs. Steven gasped, chasing after it. The bike collapsed right in front of the Diamonds.
"Hi..." Steven smiled awkwardly.
"Hey look! Steven's got a bike! Where ya goin', Steven?" Yellow asked.
"Just out for a ride," Steven said.
"In the sand?" Blue raised a brow.
"Yup!" Steven said.
"Alright, have fun," White said. The Diamonds then went back into the house.
Steven got onto the bike, struggling to ride it in the sand. He then passed a girl reading a book next to a rock. "Some smooth ride..." Steven talked to himself, hoping she'd hear. "Hand brakes... Electric blue finish with a tiger bell!" He rang the bell. "I bet there are a lot of kids who'd love to ride this bi- Woooah!" He then fell over. He threw off his helmet and ran off screaming.

Steven slammed the door behind him as he entered the beach house. He then saw that the Diamonds had been watching through the window.
"Whaddup?" Steven said, trying to be casual.
"Who were you talking to?" Blue asked.
"Huh?"
"That girl," White said.
"You saw?" Steven blushed. "She's just a girl I know, except she doesn't know me. We never talked."
Yellow gasped. "You like her, don't you?"
"Uhh... I like everyone..." Steven said.
"Let's set up a play-date as you humans call it!" Blue said. "I'll write up an invitation and work out a schedule-"
"Or he could just talk to her," Yellow said.
"Okay. But you guys can't watch this time! It'll mess up my funky flow," Steven said.
"Funky flow?" Blue and Yellow looked at him.
"Fine. We won't watch," White said.
"Alright!" Steven ran to the fridge, grabbing a glowing bracelet.
"What's that?" Yellow asked.
"NOTHING!" Steven ran out of the house.

Steven walked, practicing speaking to her. "Hi! My name is Steven. Hi, my name is Ste-ven. Hi my name is... Stevan? Oh-whoah!"
A roar was heard, and a rock from the temple fell, startling both the girl and Steven. Steven gasped, pouncing the girl. "Hi! I'm Steven!"
Steven's gem then began to glow as a bubble formed around them. The rock fell onto it, but shattered, leaving them both unharmed.
"Whoa! How did I do that?" Steven turned to the girl. "Hi, my name is Steven!"
The girl adjusted her glasses, getting over her shock. "Connie... What happened?"
"I'm magic, well... half magic, on my mom's side," Steven said.
