Steven tries to prove himself to White while navigating a maze.

The diamonds were in a warp stream together, on their way to their next mission.
"Pay attention Steven, this is going to be your first serious mission. You need to be ready." White said to him.
"Yes! I'm ready, I'm so ready!" Steven said excitedly as he flew upside down.
"Steven, come on, you're gonna make yourself sick." Blue adjusted him so he was right side up before getting hit in the eye with his ukulele. "Why did you bring that?"
"I don't know! I was excited, and i-it's mine, and I like it!" Steven said as the ukulele began to float upwards. "Huh?" He tried to swim after it.
Blue gasped, "Steven get back here! You could get seriously hurt-"
They arrived at their destination, Steven spawning several feet away from the warp pad and landing face first onto the ground. He groaned in pain. "Steven! Are you...??" Blue called out.
"I-I'm fine! I'm good. I'm just gooey." Steven stood up before being attacked by a bunch of butterflies. "Aah! They're in my eyes!"
White swatted the butterflies away from him. "They're just butterflies, Steven."
Steven got up, laughing sheepishly. "Well, they looked a lot bigger when they were on my eyeballs."
"I'm suddenly having second thoughts about bringing Steven on this mission..." Blue said to White.
"Shh. Just look at him." White said, looking at Steven, who looked adorably determined. "Now lets go recover the gemstone."
They began to walk through the battlefield. The diamonds each had varying degrees of discomfort on their faces. Just another reminder of what happened...
"We're here," White said. Steven looked up. "WOAH!!" He stared at the giant pyramid like structure.
Entering the temple, the Diamonds noticed murals on the walls of the war. Not exactly a pleasant sight for them.
Ignoring the diamonds, Steven yelled, "Steven's the best!" Resulting in an echo from the temple. "Why thank you, temple- Woah, what's this thing?" He approached a pedestal. "It's like a cool floaty triangle thing."
"Whatever it is, you probably shouldn't touch it," Yellow said.
Ignoring Yellow, Steven touched it anyway, and the temple began to shake.
"AH! Steven! What have we told you about touching magical things?" Blue scolded.
"Definitely... always... never do it!" Steven said as they began to float off the ground. They then found themselves in a corridor.
"Looks like we're gonna have to split up," Yellow said.
"Right!" Blue pulled Steven close. "Steven and I will stay right here where it seems to be safe, while you guys go and solve the mystery of this place."
"Wait, I want to help solve the mystery!" Steven whined.
Yellow then picked up Steven, lifting him over her head. "Yeah, c'mon Steven, let's solve the mystery."
"Yeah, mystery solvers!" Steven cheered before being snatched away by Blue. "No, no no-no-no. You two are a disaster waiting to happen."
"Steven goes with me," White said, causing them all to look over at her.
"Really? Awesome!" Steven cheered.
"But remember, this is a serious mission," White reminded him.
