Every birthday party up till now had been hosted by Greg, so this year, the Diamonds wanted to give it a shot.
However, they weren't exactly sure where to start...
"Ok, research complete," Yellow said, handing Blue and White copies of her notes. "These are the tips I found on how to conduct a 'birthday' party."
"Hm," Blue looked over the notes. "Are you sure we should try this? I mean, last time we did anything that had to do with birthdays, the... incident, happened." She blushed a little.
"Well this time, we're conducting the event, not him," Yellow said. "I don't think we'll have any problems like we did last time."
"Let's make this a grand event," White said. "I was thinking of mixing in some homeworld customs."
"Are you sure? It's his party," Blue said. "I don't know if he would want that."
"Want what?"
The Diamonds all turned to see Steven.
"Oh!! We were just discussing your birthday party!!" Blue said with a smile.
"Yes, we would like to host it this year," White said.
"Really?! That's awesome, guys!! What are you planning?" Steven ran over.
"Well, I was thinking of bringing some of our own customs into the party, but Blue wasn't sure if you would be alright with that," White said.
"Actually, that sounds really cool!!" Steven said. "A Homeworld themed birthday?! I'd love that!!"
White began to grin. "Thank you, Steven. We'll keep that in mind as we plan your party."
"Cool!! I'm gonna go hang out with Connie. I'll see you guys later!!" Steven then dashed out the door.

The Diamonds spent all day and night preparing for Steven's birthday party. They wanted to get everything perfect. From the cake to the decorations to the music to the gifts. Each diamond had handpicked a special gift for Steven.
They wanted his 14th to be special.
Steven invited Greg and Connie to the party, as well as Lapis and Peridot. The party would be on the beach. It would just be them and the Diamonds. Nothing too big.
Just a fun party with some homeworld mixed into it.
If possible.

"Wake up, Steven..." White gently said.
"Wha... huh?" He looked to see the Diamonds surrounding him.
"Happy birthday!!" They all said in unison. Yellow then blew into a party horn.
"Oh wow, thanks guys!!" Steven smiled, sitting up. "What's on the dock today?"
"We've got your party all set up!!" Blue said.
"Awesome!!" Steven sat up. "Let me just take a quick shower and I'll see you guys outside, ok?"
"Alright!!" White smiled.

"Hey guys!!" Connie said as she and Greg walked over to the Diamonds.
"Hello, Connie. Hello, Greg," Yellow said. "Steven's getting ready. We're just waiting on Lapis and Peridot."
