I am so soo sorry for not updating! I had a dance performance to do this week and I had been injured so I was kind of behind on the choreography! But besides that, I don't really have a great excuse. Anyways luckily I have a week off of school and I'll be skiing in Banff so updates should be pretty frequent by like the 14th or something.
By the way guys, this chappy is kind of like the prologue to a pjo story I will eventually right. So if you're interested keep your eyes peeled for a while.
Thanks -Rhea
Through the IM, Percy's tone becomes more frantic and worried, and Hazel narrows her eyes.
As he says the next sentence, nothing long, only three words, Hazel's blood boils. She nods but not on command, not really. She can't think clearly and the world is a blur... This couldn't be happening. As Percy finally cuts the connection, she blacks out...
Two hours later
Hazel blinks her eyes open and immediately squeezes them shut after doing so. A bright light shines down on her, disabling her from seeing anything around her.
She isn't dead, as a daughter of Pluto she of all people can tell. Definitely NOT at camp Jupiter, they don't have such bright lights in the infirmary/hospital, however you want to say it. If she was at camp Half-Blood she would immediately see Will Solace above her, helping her up. This place is completely alien to her.
Only when she gets up the light fades away. Two other people are in the room, a nurse and a... Teacher? Principal? Oh wait, that was her principle. She is at her mortal school, well she had only been there for three weeks so far. Then everything from the night before came back to her mind, the chat with Percy, everything. Just thinking about it makes her brain fuzzy. She walks up to the two people and they stop talking. Hazel doesn't hesitate before speaking.
"I need to go home." She says seriously. The principle laughs and is about to explain to her that she simply can't "go home" but Hazel snaps her fingers and talks again.
"I am going home, you completely agree that I may." She says and he nods. He leaves the room without another word but the nurse stays, looking at Hazel with wonder.
"A demigod! Miss Levesque is a demigod." She states with shock and Hazel nods, giggling. Then the lady snaps out of her "day dream" and frowns.
"Why must you go home Hazel?" She asks and Hazel sighs worriedly.
"I am actually from the twelfth legion but I need you to drive me to camp ASAP!" She explains and the nurse nods a little afterwards tilting her head as if to say "why?"
"Do you know the son of Hades, Nico di Angelo?" Hazel asks and the nurse looks up as if thinking, then nodding her head.
"Well he is my half-brother..." She pauses and gulps down, the lump in her throat.
"And he's missing."
Yep! That's the prologue thingy! For those who want to continue reading this, I will mention it during a chapter of this story. It will be a crossover story and has been done a few times (not nearly as much as the mortals meet demigods though) and I really like them so I'm going to right one. Yayyyyyy! If you guys want to guess in the comments what kind of story it will be I'll dedicate the first chapter of that story to whoever gets it right.
