Thanks! Now on with the chappy!

I throw my dagger at the ground in frustration. Ugh! I want to fight! Let me explain, my name is Cody and I'm a demigod. You might know me from our previous journeys together, you know! You've been with me this whole time, ever since I bumped into Clarisse on the street. Chiron, who is the camp's director wants to wait a few days before I start my training. I could have started sooner but "mom" hasn't claimed me yet. He doesn't want me to start my training until she claims me and I can settle into my right cabin. I'm staying at the Hermes cabin right now. So far my friends are Leo, Drew who can be nice when she wants to. Don't try to figure out how we became friends, but I like her nevertheless! Finally my best friend, the first demigod I ever met is Clarisse who has helped me since she first met me, I guess I'm friends with some of the other Ares kids too! Anyways, I don't know why my mother hasn't claimed me yet but she had better do it soon. I mean, come on! I've been at camp for over three days!

Suddenly, I hear a yell. It is extremely faint and no one else seems to hear it. But we have figured out that one of my powers is "super senses" my sense of smell, sight, touch and especially hearing are over average, even for a demigod! And I don't even have ADHD!

Maybe I have it a little bit... But I was never diagnosed with it! Anyways, I quietly sneak away from watching the sword lesson and dash to the camp's borders. And that is where I see the army. A troupe of monsters it marching towards camp Half-Blood and would be here in no more than six or seven minutes. I can just see the front line, a hoard of Cyclopes, where the sky meets earth. A thousand beasts right on the horizon, and they are all coming for the sole purpose of killing us. Now I'm not going to lie, at first I am kind of excited at the fact that I will finally get to fight... But then I remember that I've never so much as swung my sword, never mind knowing how to actually use it.

Crap.

There isn't any time to go find Chiron, camp is huge and he could be anywhere. No one would believe me if I told them that a random army will arrive in five minutes. The campers only listen to Percy, Annabeth or Chiron!

Wait a minute! A plan quickly forms in my head and I rush towards the vacant big house. True I'm not actually, Chiron, but if I can find what I'm looking for than they won't know that.
Aha! I pick up the conch horn that is sitting in the big house and rush back towards the pine tree. I press the horn to my lips and blow, as hard as I possibly can. A loud trumpet sound erupts throughout the whole camp and I almost faint from the noise... And the lack of air too I guess!

The effect is immediate. I hears a few screams but in a few minutes time, the whole camp is rushing towards me in full battle armour, Chiron leading the group. He looks at me, maybe a bit annoyed but mostly confused. Without saying a word, I point towards the army. I hear some campers gasp as we watch the monsters surge forwards, they would arrive at any minute now.

I look at Chiron "Where did they come from? Why are they attacking now?" I ask and he turns to me.

"The nearby cities." He explains. "The Hamptons and Montauk mostly. Since Gaea has been defeated, more and more troupes have been invading the cities to eliminate new demigods. That is why it was so dangerous for you to be there at the time and why you needed to get to camp so abruptly." I nod, trying to absorb all of this new information.
