BETTER DAYS

 The moment they informed the whole family that Alix is awake, everybody rushed to the hospital to see her. Halos ilang minuto pa lang na naililipat si Alix sa hospital penthouse ay subod-sunod na silang dumating. Hindi na nahintay ng lahat na sumikat ng matindi ang araw at kanya-kanya nilang inimbitahan ang mga sarili para dalawin ang buntis na si Alix.  

The penthouse hospital is filled with baloons with different colors and shape, and of course Alix's favorite flower.....pink and lavander tulips. Pag-labas pa lang ni Alix kasama ang mga nurse at si Zeigan sakay ng wheelchair galing ng private elevator ay ito na ang tumambad sa mga mata nya. Her eyes blooms with so much joy as he holds Zeigan's hand.  "You made all of this? For me?" she asked 

Zeigan sat infront of her, holding her hands and  kiss her lips tenderly.  "As soon as you woke up I want to do this to welcome you in our world, to remind you of our love, so that you will not think of leaving me again...." 

There are tears on both their eyes, tears of joy and longingness for each other,  the smile on their faces and the love that exudes from their heart can say it all without verbalizing any word.  "Thank you for these Love....and please stop crying it breaks my heart."

Zeigan kiss her wife on her forehead and on the tip of her nose..."I just miss you so much Love...I miss doing this things for you, you know how much I love you...."

"I miss you too...bigtime and I love you so!"  Alix answered 

Kungdi pa napigilan ng dalawang nurse na kasama nila ang kiligin at mag-react sa nakikita sa kanila ay di pa mapuputol ang moment ng mag-asawa.  "Hhhaayy sana all may lovelife...."  duet ng dalawang nurse. 

Natawa na lang silang mag-asawa sa narinig sa mga kasama, agad na binuhat ni Zeigan si Alix papunta sa kama para makapagpahinga na rin ito. Matapos na maiayos ng mga nurse ang mga kailangan ni Alix sa kwarto ay lumabas na din para mabigyan ng privacy ang mag-asawa. "Ang bilis mo ah, paano mo nagawa yun?" tanong ni Alix kay Zeigan  

"Alin? What do you mean?" balik tanong ni Zeigan

"Yung pa-baloon saka yung pa-flowers mo....napa-bilib mo ako dun ah!"  biro nya

"Magaling ako eh....you don't have to know, secret ko yun! Kidding aside, I want to make you happy, after what happen ayoko ng mahihirapan ka pa ever. Kung pwedeng ako na lang lahat, sa akin na lang lahat ibigay wag ka lang masasaktan ulit." 

"That's not even possible Love, everything must be shared....tulong tayong dalawa. Look even when I'm unconsious you shared my journey, so ganoon din ako sa'yo. Whatever happens, whatever life throw at us we will deal with it together...." sabi ni Alix

"Yeah, pero ayoko ng nahihirapan ka. Ako na lang wag na ikaw, basta kasama kita I can do anything. Just don't ever let go of my hand....ikaw lang sapat na. I love you....sobrang I love you!"  and Zeigan kiss his wife with so much intensity, that's how he missed her.

He wants to kiss her and hug her more, to be close to her and enclose her in his arms but they heard familiar voices coming from the living room of the hospital penthouse, it seems that they are not alone anymore.

Everybody's here...and they are not surprise. They keep on coming without any hint, ano pa nga ba ang dapat nilang i-expect ng malaman ng buong pamilya na gising na si Alix. Ganoon naman talaga sa pamilya Montero, laging magkakadamay. Hindi ka pa humihingi ng tulong nasa pintuan mo na agad at naka-abang na. Tatlong magkaka-sunod na malakas  na katok sa pintuan ng kwarto ng penthouse at biglang bumukas ito. Mga mukhang nakangiti sa kanila sabay sigawan ng sabay-sabay,   "Welcome Back ALIX!!!!"  sa sabay-sabay na boses ng mga kaanak.
