As expected, Cats had scared Dick more than the Joker could ever dream of scaring said hero. The shorter boy had burrowed further into Jason's chest that night than he ever had before.

At first, Jason was happy for it. He wanted to keep Dickie close after the scare he'd had earlier that night. Feeling Dick's warm skin against his gave Jason the comfort he needed to sleep.

At least, until he woke up around four-thirty, freezing cold. That was, he soon realized, because Dick had rolled over and taken all the gosh darn blankets with him.

Glaring at Dick (despite said boy not being able to see), Jason snatched the covers back, murmuring some unrepeatable words under his breath. He laid back down and tried to go back to sleep, but was once again freezing as Dick unconsciously pulled the covers right back.

"You little-" Jason growled. He grabbed the blanket once again, tighter this time, covering himself back up for the second occasion in mere minutes.

"Stop," Dick whined groggily, pulling the covers back again.

"No, you!" Jason all but yelled. He took his turn in his and Dick's little tug-of-war game.

"Jayyy," Dick pouted tiredly, rolling over and weakly shoving the taller boy.

"Dickkk," Jason mocked, shoving Dick right back. "You're a little blanket hog. You know that?"

Dick frowned, burying his face in the pillows, "I'm cold."

Jason frowned at his boyfriend's pitiful form, but he couldn't help the smile that began to spread on his face as he thought of an idea to cure both of their freezing situations.

"C'mere," Jason cooed (in a manly fashion, of course) and pulled Dick closer to him, pulling the blanket over them both.

Dick smiled into Jason's chest, letting his sapphire eyes flutter open to look at his boyfriend. "Y'know what?"

"What?" Jason smiled lovingly.

Dick bopped Jason's nose, "I still don't forgive you for making me watch Cats."

"Jesus Christ-"

"It was cruel, Jason. Just cruel."

"You're a wimp, Dickie-bird. You know that?"

"Yeah, well, you're a little meanie. And a meanie is worse than a wimp."

"What are you?" Jason laughed. "Ten?"

"Mentally."

"For fuck's sake-"

"That's a naughty word, Jason."

"Your face is a naughty word, Dick."

"I think my name is actually the only thing naughty about me."

Jason laughed, "We both know it's not."

Dick blushed furiously, making Jason just tighten his grip on him.

"I love you, Jay."

"I know."
