Shooting for the moon

<Deku POV>

All the heroes stood in the middle of the road prepared for the attack on overhaul . I had figured out the rough time that overhaul and Eri would arrive at the part of the road we were on .

The students were obviously nervous since this was their first proper rescue mission but it wasn't the case with me . My mind was fully analytical I had to find out the easiest way to get eri out .

A few minutes later it was time to start the attack . I activated full cowling and signalled for the other heroes to stand back . I can't cause any damage to my own team .

I launched into the air . The other heroes didn't even realise I jumped until seconds later when they felt the immense air pressure releasing from where i once was . I do a flip in the air and aim my foot towards the ground.

"MANCHESTER SMASH" i yell as my foot connects to the ground completely shattering it too pieces

The floor crumbles revealing overhaul and Eri entering the room . They were followed by the other members of overhauls "gang" . As I fell towards them black tendrils released from my body. They wrapped around Eri and I gave her over to a near by hero .

Overhaul yanked the head of his "teammate" and used his quirk to fuse with him . He seemed to get progressively angrier . My hand lit up with bakugo's quirk and I repeatedly blasted him to smithereens . Overhauls new found body started crumbling at the pressure of these attacks

He grabbed the other "teammate" and fused with him making him many times stronger than before . He looked at me creepily which sent a shiver down my spine . He took a look at Eri who was in aizawa's arms currently and bolted towards her .

I grabbed him with black whip . It tightened around him body but he increased his quirk out put stretching the whip more and more . Sooner rather than later the whip had become loose enough for him to slip out .

Overhaul kept creating walls blocking aizawa's field of view so he couldn't take his quirk away . It seems he's done his research on local heroes . I followed after overhaul destroying the walls almost as quickly as he places them .

"GIVE HER TO ME" overhaul yelled

He slammed his now muscular rock like arm into Aizawa flinging him into a rock . He snatched eri of the ground and started attempting to leave the area seeing as he was outnumbered...

I launched towards him and pulled my arm back . Tendrils came from my back to take eri from his grasp . Once they had grabbed her they rested her on my back just like how Eri was in the original fight .

"SMASH" i yelled as my fist connected with his skull

This sent him flying a back into a wall . This was no where near my full power but it would be a risk to use it in a confined area . It would be better to use 100% in the air or in a decently sized battle ground .

I knew if this fight was to continue I would have to move up to the air . I slammed my leg down onto the ground in an attempt to imitate the movement I performed to escape overhaul before .

I launched into the air sending a shockwave from my leg down to the battle ground . I stabilised my self in the air using float . This seemed to calm down Eri who was shiver a bit ....

I landed softly onto the ground and turned all my attention to her . Tears were releasing from her eyes . I would assume that this was all guilt for the damage that overhaul has caused to me during this fight

"I'm sorry" she said as tears wet my hero costume

"It's not your fault Eri-"I was cut off by overhaul launching out of the hole in the street

He landed on the bit of road that wasn't fully crumbled . He was bigger than the buildings at this point . He had fully healed himself and improved his body . Although it came at a cost

All that bulk made him slow . I signalled for eri to climb back onto my back . She did as told and wrapped her arms around my body . I have overhaul and angered look before I started raising the percentage of of one for all .

"ONE FOR ALL FULL COWLING" i mentally yelled

"100%" I continued

Air flew around everywhere from the power out burst . Imitating the other timeline overhaul attempted to stab me with stone which I easily dodged and almost teleported to the other side of him.

I raised my leg towards his stomach and kicked as hard as I could...

"SMASHHHH" i yelled as he flew up into the air

"EXPLOSION BARRAGE" i yelled as i repeatedly exploded his rock body .

His skin was almost peeling off from my power. I dived under him and hardened my arm trying to make my attacks hurt even more . I wasn't going to attempt to go over my limit .

"SMASH" i yelled again

His skin was now scarred . It looks like what phone screens look like once exposed to fire after a lengthened period of time . Black but kind of faded . His face was of pure horror as he was expecting my full power to be what was shown down there.

"IF I CANNOT SAVE" I gulped while flying around near the direction of overhaul.

"A LITTLE GIRL RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME" i continued

Overhauls expression was instantly clouded with regret and fear as I pulled my arm back preparing to hit him right in the face . I knew after I did this everything would start to change. .

"HOW COULD I CALL MYSELF" i yelled

The heroes on the sidelines looked up at the ridiculous amount of energy releasing from my body . Down at the ground night eye and Ochako were looking up at me.

<Ochako POV>

"Is he gonna be ok" i asked night eye

Night eyes eye flashed purple signifying that he was seeing into the future . A smile appeared onto his face after the purple went away from his eyes .

"He'll make it" he told me

<Deku POV>

"HOW COULD I CALL MYSELF" i yelled

"A HERO" i continued as my fist connected to his jaw and we both fell crashing down onto the ground.

His body landed onto some near by debris and I landed a few feet in-front of him . I stood tall while keeping my fighting position just in case he strands back up.
