Fated rivals

<Deku POV>

After a few minutes of healing and resting the final round of the sports festival was ready to begin . I started walking out to the arena and remembered when I fought him the 2nd time. .

Could he want to know how I got one for all.... Maybe it is the right time to tell him . Perhaps ill do it later...

On the other side of the arena Kacchan stood there relatively calm.... He does seem a little bothered by something.... his arms seem to be moving around a lot as if they were about to explode.

"ARE YOU READYY FOR THE FINAL ROUND"

"YEAHHHHH" the crowd yelled back

Kacchan let off a few explosions in excitement . One for all red lines covered my body as i smiled . Kacchan also had a creepy smile on his face but it soon reverted to angry when he was cut off.

"ON YOUR MARKS" midnight yelled

Lightning flickered around my body . They couldn't manage to find me any UA PE  uniforms so i would just have to go with my busted up clothes.

"GET SET" 

Kacchan pulled his arms back preparing to explode towards me. Even with the explosions adding to his speed it's nothing compared to one for all .

"GOOOO"

He blasts across the stadium and attempted to hit me with a point blank shot to the head. Before he landed it I put my guard up absorbing the shot completely.

I start floating up in the air and kick him in the face . I made sure that I kicked him at 8% instead of 20%. With 20% a point blank hit would have knocked him out that's why I either hit strong locations or used shockwaves to attack before.

I spat some blood out and continued with his attack. He attempted a kick in the stomach but i just grabbed his leg and flung him away . He landed on his back and flipped up once more.

"WOHHHH" the crowd screamed

I pulled my arms back and repeatedly flicked my fingers to fly across towards him. I pulled out my leg and forced it into his cheek. I kept it there dragging his head down until he landed on the floor .

All of a sudden he jumped up from the floor and landed his first hit to the face . Maybe i should up it to 10% . Then all of a sudden he started crying

He fell onto the ground and landed on his knees as if he was breaking down . Tears streamed down his face. It was just like our second fight

"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GET SO STRONG IT WAS MEANT TO BE ME WHO WAS MEANT TO BE CHASED AFTER" he yelled pouring his soul into it

"SMALL FRIES LIKE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TRY AND GET STRONGER LIKE ME NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND" He continued

"WHY DID I HAVE TO GET LEFT IN THE DUST"

I sat there speechless just like the original time line . This time I know what to do... I could inspire him like all might...

"Then fight for it" I tell him which seemed to confuse him

"Fight to become stronger than me" I said holding my arms up in a fighting position

Kacchan stood up and blasted me in the face . After the dust settled down all he saw was an unscathed me smiling. I used the hardening quirk on my arms.

I knew only one other person could take a nuke-like explosion and that was bakugo. He would get permanent damage if I did a one for all 100% explosions. Il keep it at 10%
