<Deku POV>

The entire of the UA staff and students were running around the ground of UA as fast as they could. Today was the night before we return to Japan. Tomorrow we would take back Japan and (hopefully) beat the Shigaraki's .

I slowly walked through the corridors of UA. I was walking towards gran Torino's office. One last meeting with him before I fight the Shigaraki's.

I slowly slid open the door and saw gran torino sitting on his chair peacefully. He looked up at me unsure of what I was gonna ask of him.

"Are you sure that I can beat them" i asked

"You've been training for two years and your still unsure" gran Torino Said

"My my you are exactly like toshinori" he added

"You on your own could be a challenge for both of the Shigaraki's.... but with the entire class there I highly doubt you could lose against them" he continued

"U-uhh sir bu-" i mumbled

"No ifs no buts no coconuts... you will succeed...." he told me

"And if you don't..."

"Your gonna cook me 100 tayaki's" he joked

"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT I'LL BEAT THEM" i yelled

"That's what I thought" he added as I exited the room.

I had been living with a metal arm for these two years but it was now time to regain my original arm. For two years eri and Aizawa have been training together to improve her control on rewind.

Now she can use it on anything she wants but she still does have a limit. Although her limit has been extended by a decent amount of time.

My next stop was to go to Mr aizawa's office where he and eri usually stayed throughout the day. It was just down the hallway from Gran Torino so I didn't have to walk very far.

I opened the door to see eri spinning on a spinny chair in Aizawa's office while Aizawa rolled his eyes while sitting on his other chair...

"Hello problem child what do you want" he asked not knowing why I entered his office

"I was wondering since the battle was tomorrow and everyone was panicking if I could get eri to rewind my arm before it gets to hectic for me to talk to you" I replied

"Yeah sure" he replied

Eri hopped off her chair and walked over to Aizawa and I. She had an adorable determined face on her...

"Alright eri" i said as i removed the replacement arm from me

"All your going to do is rewind it until I have my old arm back" I explained

She touched the stub of my arm and started to rewind it to its original length. It slowly grew until it was just about missing my hand. She started again continuing the process until my arm was fully back.

Luckily the arm was still the same size as my other arm even though I have grown in the past two years . I guess I grew in my legs instead.

I formed a fist out of my fingers and practiced different articulations (idk if that's the right word). It felt weird but I could get used to it pretty quickly.

"D-did I do it" Eri asked

"Yes eri it worked" i responded

She smiled happily before sitting back in her spinny chair and continued spinning. I looked at Aizawa who was staring at my arm.

"This is game changing midoriya" he said

"Imagine how many people could regrow limbs like lizards" he continued

(IS THAT A SPIDER-MAN REFERENCE... idk man figure it out)

"She could be the next recovery girl if she wanted to" i replied

Aizawa nodded as I exited the room. Now all I had to do is wait for everyone else to prepare for the fight.... maybe think a little... It was all coming to an end. It had only taken 18 years well 14 since I missed 4 of those.

Since I had nothing else to do I walked up to my dorm room and opened the door. It was completely empty since everyone was moving everything to Japan.

I sat down on the empty floor....

-1 day later

All of class 1a and the teachers were walking to the battle field where we first fought the Shigaraki's. Japan had now become deserted. There was sound coming from under manhole cover.

I walked over to it and opened it. Under the manhole cover there was a ladder presumably leading to a bunker where some people lived. I climbed down it and saw that it was actually a bunker. A little family was sitting on some chairs alone.

It was honestly depressing seeing people this unhappy so I made a promise to myself to win this war. I climbed up the the ladder again and placed the manhole cover over the hole again.

We continued walking towards the battle field. Most of the houses were completely destroyed but the ones outside of the radius of the Shigaraki's decay.

Luckily most of the students houses were outside of that radius. Eventually we were close  enough to actually see the battle field that I fought on.

In the middle of the battle field the two Shigaraki's were sitting down on the ground . They were facing opposite each other. No noises came from either of them.

I slowly walked closer and closer to him.....

The heroes had just gotten away from us. Past Shigaraki was filled with anger. I turned towards him... his teeth were clenched and a veins were popping out.

"WHY AREN'T YOU RUNNING FOR THEM" He yelled

"They have already lost us there's no use" i said walking away

After getting out of view I started glitching. It was like I was trying to get pulled back into my original timeline. I quickly realised the quirk was taking a toll on my body. I had to quickly remove it before things got worse.

I quickly ran into a near by house and yanked a father of a family out. He tried to run away but my grip was too strong. I swapped the quirk into him but unexpectedly he didn't start glitching.

Perhaps he was the original owner in the other timeline so their DNA matched somehow. I walked out of the room. He quickly ran after me...

"I'LL TELL THE HERO'S ABOUT YOU" he yelled

I chuckled "there won't be any left soon"
