Speed vs strategy (you didnt see nuffing)

<Ochako POV>

I sat in the waiting room awaiting Izuku's return . He had just taken down Tokoyami and was making his way back up to the waiting room . My next match is against was against lida . So I would have to focus on timing to beat him since there was no way I could out match him in speed .

A squeaky hinge was heard from behind me and I turned around to see izuku opening the door whilst smiling . I instantly went up to greet him . He must feel a little bad for beating tokoyami like that since he acted a little more awkward than usual .

"So who are you facing next" he asked

"Oh I'm facing lida" i told him

He put his hand up to his chin . Does he doubt my ability of is he just thinking of every possible combination of events that could play out during the fight .

"Would you like me to help you think of a strategy or do you want to do it all by yourself" he questioned

"I think il be fine ... I've already thought of the fundamental aspects of my strategy to beat lida" i revealed to him

Izuku smiled at this fact... Maybe he is happy I've inherited something else than his muttering habit that has barely been featured during this book in actual speech . Oh sorry did I break the fourth wall let's just ignore that .

"That's good" he told me with his thumbs up

"THE BATTLE FIELD IS READY TO BE USED" mics weird ass uncle yelled

"TENYA LIDA AND OCHAKO URARAKA CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE BATTLE FIELD IMMEDIATELY" he shouted

I got up out of my seat and started walking to the door . I turned around and saw Deku smiling with his thumbs up . He is my motivation I do better . His existence makes me want to do better .

I looked back to the door and opened it . As I walked through the hallways of the arena I kept thinking of how Lida's speed could truly destroy my entire plan . My timing skills aren't the best .... I'm betting this entire win on the off chance that I will be able to connect an attack with the second fastest person in the entire of class 1A

I couldn't think like this now ... thoughts are for planning but now is the time for action.....

(that's a little reference to the line in rick and morty that was "speeches are for campaigning but not is the time for action)

I stepped through the archway and looked over to lida who was in a running position awaiting Mics uncle to yell go . I put my arms up signifying that this fight will be mine .

"ARE YOU READYYYYY" mics uncle yelled

"YEAHHHHH" the crowd replied

"3" mics uncle shouted

"1"

"GOOOOOOOOO" he yelled as he shot his gun

The bullet launched into the sky as lida and I charged at each other . He ran straight towards me and as he was about to collide with em I barely moved out of the way . He turned around as launched towards me .

I quickly moved just barely avoiding his attacks by the skin of my teeth . I had tripped over a couple times after barely escaped his speed . My shoes were untied but I had to continue persisting .

I ran towards lida instead of running away from him this time . His face changed to a confused expression as my tired body flung towards him . Come on Ochako your good enough to beat him . You can do it ....

I got close enough to him that I could almost touch him . I could see the flame like substance releasing from lida's exhaust pipes on his legs . My hand reached closer and closer to lida's arm...

'I JUST WANT TO BE'

My hand finally connected with lida's arm . He started to lose the gravity in his body and nearly floated away . Before he could float away I grabbed his leg and made my way to the edge of the battle field . Once I reached the edge I quickly waved his entire body outside of the edge and then released his gravity .

His body landed outside the line of the battle field causing him to lose . Cheers erupted from the crowd and i smiled happily . Even when izuku isn't here he still seems to help we when I am struggling . lida got up and looked at his legs and arms in shock .

"URARAKA WINS"

I think he may have underestimated me just like the mha twitter stans . We both walked back to the waiting room separately . From what I could remember the next fight to happen is kirishima vs bakugo . This means the winner will fight me since I won against lida.

I walked into the waiting room and was greeted my izuku who lifted me into the air and hugged me . The class cheered from behind , luckily lida was walking slowly or he would have walked in on them cheering .

"GOOD JOB THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED YOU TO DO TO BEAT lIDA" Izuku blurted out

I chuckled as he let me down onto the ground . A few seconds later lida came in with his head down ashamed . Kirishima came to his side and tried to cheer him up . It was unfortunate that he got knocked out of the festival in the first round .

"So who are you fighting next" i asked izuku

"I'm either fighting Todoroki or momo but I'm not sure yet since their fight hasn't happened yet , who are you fighting" he asked

"Oh I'm fighting kirishima or bakugo , I'm still a little scared of bakugo from the last sports festival so I hope kirishima wins" i tell him

He nods in response but as he is about to respond he is cute off by the speaker in the top right corner of the waiting room . Suddenly mics uncle started speaking...

"EJIROU KIRISHIMA AND KATSUKI BAKUGO COULD YOU PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE BATTLE GROUND IMMEDIATELY" mics uncle yelled

Both of them exited the room at the same time . As their paths crossed bakugo made a like "tch" sound . Kirishima could only laugh at his anger as he moved to the battle field .
