Chapter 52- Summer Ball

We hear the beep of the limo outside and all thefirls run downstairs, leaving Marcie and I in my room.

I am getting my black clutch bag and putting my lipgloss & phone in it, Marcie is packing her suitcase back up.

"Thanks again for coming over and doing this." I say to Marcie snapping my clutch bag closed.

"No problem. Just insuring you look your best." She says back, "Besides its good practice for me."

I give her a hug before I go down.

"Lock up when your done." I tell her, "You are an amazing friend for doing this."

"I try." I hear her say to her herself when I am hald way down the steps.

All the firls and their dates are already in the limo, or are getting into it.

Blaine is leaning on the door frame as I walk down.

"Hello beautiful." He says standing up right.

"Hello handsome." I say back with a smile.

"You look like a princess." He tells me pulling out a corsage from a plastic box. "I believe you need this."

I let him put it on my wrist, and then he pulls me towards him whispering into my ear, "I hope you can dance."

I laugh.

"Oh I can dance." I whisper back, "I can dance very well."

**BLAINE**

Brooke and I join everyone in the limo where they are blasting music.

"LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" Brooke shouts.

She looks so beautiful tonight. Its going to take a lot of strength to stop myself.

The limo starts moving, and I sit down next to Jake, across from Brooke, admiring her.

The lighting in the limo makes look like she is glowing.

"Blaine sing along." Jake shouts at me.

The song "We are young" is on and everyone is singing.

"Give me a second, I

I need to get my story straight
My friends are in the bathroom
Getting higher than the Empire State
My lover she is waiting for me
Just across the bar,
My seat's been taken by some sunglasses
Asking 'bout a scar
I know I gave it to you months ago
I know you're trying to forget
But between the drinks and subtle things
And the holes in my apologies
You know I'm trying hard to take it back
So if by the time the bar closes
And you feel like falling down
I'll carry you home

Tonight,
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun

Tonight,
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun

Now I know that I'm not
All that you got
I guess that I,
I just thought,
Maybe we could find new ways to fall apart
But our friends are back
So let's raise the cup
'Cause I found someone to carry me home

Tonight,
We are young -"

The music is cut off.

"Hey!" Layla complains.

"We are here!" Brooke tells her looking out of the window.
