**BLAINE**

"Send  double the patrol tonight." I tell my father barging into his office.

"Blaine I am still the Alpha here!" My father shouts at me.

"I don't care." I shout back.

He won't be for long, and honestly right now I don't care.

"Watch your tone!" My father orders in his Alpha voice.

"I apologize but Brooke is in danger. It is urgent."

"No matter how urgent you will talk to me with respect." His voice booms.

DAMN HIM! Alpha or no alpha we need this done now. I NEED THIS DONE NOW!

"I will double the patrol, but you will not be going with them!" My father tells me.

What does he mean I am not going with them? I need to go with them. I need to watch over Brooke!

"FATHER!"

"No! You have got your head all wrapped up all over this girl. I understand she is your mate but you need to study for finals. They are starting next week!"

"Those things aren't important! SHE IS!"

"Just because you aren't going to college that doesn't mean that grades are not importnat. NOW LISTEN TO ME!"

I can't believe that school is well, over. 

I'm going to be the Alpha soon, which is another reason why my father needs to let me go.

I need to be involved with this seeing that I will be Alpha soon.

Besides, I'm the one who started this patrol in the first place!

I go to my room and start to study.

This isn't fair.

**BROOKE**

"Would you like to meet everyone?" Uncle James asks.

"Everyone?"

"Well Alpha Brooke, your pack."

WHAT THE HELL? ALPHA BROOKE??

"Woah, woah, woah. I am not ANYBODIES Alpha."

"But Brooke, you are the next heir to be the Alpha of the Secta pack. Without your pack won't survive."

"I just found out I am a werewolf and now your telling me, I am the leader of the Secta pack? Haha so funny."

This is way too much. I just want to be normal. I like being normal. Normal is fun.

"Brooke I understand this is a lot, but without you we are nothing!"

I sigh.

Well when he puts it that way..... "Fine. When?"

"Why don't you come for a little tomorrow and then after that spend the weekend? Get to know us."

"Alright. But I absolutely cannot miss school on friday."

"Splendid."

James walks over to me and gives me a hug. I accept it but do nothing in return.

"Goodbye." He leaves.

Gosh my life has changed drastically in two weeks.

**BLAINE**

'Hey. Good rest of the day?' I text Brooke.

I recieve a quick reply.

'U can say that.'

'Everything alrite?'

''Yep, dw bout it:D'

'Studying?'

'Yeah right! Finishing art HW'

I smile

'Bad girl ;)'

'What the hell was that?'

'A face!'

'A weird face.'

'Just like urs'

I laugh.

'Yeah yeah. So u planning on failing the finals then?'

'Sumtin like that.'

'Study date tom?'

'Can't meeting the fam.'

Meeting the fam? Whose the "fam"? Does that mean family? Like Secta pack family?

'The fam?' I ask her.

'Yeah. W/ uncle james.'

OH NOOOOOO THIS ISN'T GOOD.

'IDK'

'IDK about what?'

'Bout this James guy.'

'What do you mean? I have known him since I was born. He is family.'

'Met him. Creepy.'

'U met him???? And btw no! Not creepy!'

He's taking her to see the fam. That means the pack, I am sure of it.

He is going to lie and manipulate her.

She is going to hate me.

I can't have her hate me.

I close my texts boooks and notes.

I am going on patrol.
