Chapter 8- Secret boyfriends and betrayal

The next day I wake up early and decide I am not going to wear my usual apparel like yesterday. I put on red shorts, and a short sleeved black laced top. Then my knee high converse, and lots of necklaces. Then I put my hair in a pony tail and my mascara & eyeliner on.

When I get into Layla's car, Kat and Layla look at me mouths dropped.

My phone buzzs in my hand and Kat grabs it from me.

"Oh my g-d!" She squeals.

"What?" Layla asks stopping at the red light.

Kat shows Layla the phone who then screeches on the top of her lungs in what seems to be joy.

"Can someone please tell me whats going on?!" I exclaim.

"Thats why you dressed so pretty today!" Kat says realizing something, " You have a boyfriend!"

I grab my phone and see that Gabriel texted me 'Good Morning Beautiful<3"

I laugh.

Yesteday an old woman passed by us skateboarding and goes, "What a cute couple!" and before I could object Gabriel wraps his arm around my wasit, "Oh we know." He says, "Don't we beautiful?"

So now its our personal joke and he calls me beautiful...

"Oh you caught me!" I say sarcastically.

My friends completely ignore the sarcasm and start squealing.

"I bet Gabriel is one of the hot new guys." Kay says.

"And she said she didn't want a boyfriend." Layla laughs parking the car.

We get out of the car and Gabe is waiting for me.

"Hey Gabe." I say giving him a hug.

Layla and Kat start to shriek

"You must be Brookes boyfriend." Layla says composing herself.

'Boyfriend?' Gabriel mouths to me.

I shrug.

Gabriel gives them a huge grin and slings his arm around my shoulder. 

"YUP!"

I try not the let out a huge "WHAT THE HELL!?"

"He's adorable Bree." Kat tells me.

I guess Gabe's cute. He is very tan and has light brown perfectly cut hair, and chocolate brown eyes that you can just want to eat. Like makes your mouth watering... Okay this just makes me sound really creepy. CHANGE OF TOPIC!

The school bell rings.

YES! It saved me from my own wierdness!

"We'll leave you two lovebirds at it." Kat says giggling as they ditch me.

"Boyfriend? Seriously Gabe?" i SIGH.

"What?! I though it was funny!" He bursts into a fit of laughter. "Really funny!"

Soon I begin laughing too.

"It was..."

And we walk into school laughing.

**BLAINE**

"Hey man, I heard coach let you into the team yesterday!" Jerry whispers to me in class, "Just like that!"

Brooke walks into class late with a smile on her face.

She looks pretty today..

"Ms. Marito, is there a reason you are late?" The teacher, who's name I think is Mr. Bokor, asks her.

"No Mr. Bokor." She answers.

"I will let it go because its the first time. Next time do not be late."

She sits down in her seat next to me and pulls out her notebook.

Why does this girl mystify me? Whats so special about her?

I watch her draw and notie she bites her lip when she works. Sexy.... 

She is drawing a picture of a forest with a girl on the floor laying there as if she had fallen.

She is extremely talented..

Then her phone buzzes and I can't help but look at her phone.

Its a text from Gabriel Dregger. 'We still on for tonight?'

 Gabriel Dregger? As in Gabriel in my pack Gabriel???

I snap my pencil in half.

I am goign to KILL HIM!

I storm out of class and into Gabes.

I gwol and punch him in the face. 'SHE'S MINE!" I exclaim and leave the classroom furious.

I run into the forest and shift, ruining my clothes.
