                              Chapter 69- All about Lizzie

"Meow!" Max meows at me as I put him into his bath.
"Shush you!" I say to him. "You don't want to be dirty do you?"
                              Max meows again.
I can tell he doesn't want to be in there but Max needs to be cleaned. He can't go around being dirty and stinky. That wouldn't be good. Especially because I am expecting a guest tonight.
Theo and I have dinner plans.
We might go out instead of staying in but it all depends on our mood.
"See, all done." I coo into Max's ear as I take him out and wrap in a towel.
                              "MROW!!!"
I let out a childlike giggle as he tries to get out of my grasps.
                              He's so silly sometimes.
I remember when I got him. It was a gift from my mom, and I specifically remember she warned me that he had a disability.
I fell in love with him at first sight.
Technically I shouldn't call im a kitten when he's a full grown cat.
I got him when I was 8 which makes him four years old.
The disability he has is a growth disability. He can never grow in size, its like dwarfism for cats. So he is going to look like a cat forever.
A lot of people would love that. They'd have a tiny kitten forever.
Me, I cried the second I heard about it. I felt so bad for him that he'd never be like all the other cats.
                              Then I bonded with him.
I thought, "Good, I'll never be like anyone else either."
Max became part of the family, and Layla, Kat, Theo fell in love with him as well.
Now Maxie's my cat, and he will live with me forever.
The doorbell of my house rings.
                              Theo's here already?
I let Max sit down on my bed, grab my crutches, and slowly go to open the door for him.
"Beibs, you ready?" He asks as I let him in.
My eyes widen in fear as I look down at what I'm wearing.
                              "Are we going out now?"
                              "Yes...?"
                              "Can I change first?"
                              I'm wearing pyjama's I can't go out like this!
Theo laughs, sensing me mentally freaking out.
                              "Of course."
Theo and I haven't really gotten the chance to catch up. He hasn't told me about his amazing experiences in New York.
I come back down in a summer dress so we can go.
Theo drives us to Rock N' Roll Cafè, a restaurant that's 80's themed.
It has the best chocolate strawberry milkshakes in all of Miami Bay.
He orders two of those and a plate of chips (a/n french fries ;) ) for the both of us.
