''Nay, I will go home early. Please payagan ninyo na po ako'' I begged.

Ate Issa invited me to go to Mall kasama si Kuya Hector. I really want to go with them.

Mama just looked at me for a minute and after looking at me, she looked at Tatay who's sitting beside her. Nakayakap si Tatay kay Nanay. Hindi ko maiwasan ang kiligin. Palagi silang ganito, lumaki kami ni Peter na ganito palagi ang nakikita. Si Tatay na palaging hinahalikan si Nanay o si Nanay buhat-buhat ni Tatay. Parang hindi matatanda eh!

''Asawa, si Selene'' malambing na tawag ni Nanay ka Tatay. Tatay was smelling Nanay's hair kaya mukhang hindi ako narinig.

Tatay looked at him when Mama called his attention. I gulped as nervousness filled me. Tatay is really strict when it comes us. He's always asking where we're going, he's also telling us our curfew time. Nakakapasyal naman kami but we need to have chaperone with us.

Tatay breathes out. ''Alright, okay lang sa akin basta umuwi ka ng 7 in the evening and you will have your chaperone'' he said. Authority is in his voice.

I looked at Nanay, begging her not to give me a chaperone. I can't enjoy myself having them, palagi silang nakasunod sa akin na minsan ay napapaiyak nalang ako sa inis. Hindi kay Tatay kung hindi sa pagiging malaya ko. I don't hate Tatay but I hate not having my freedom.

When Nanay got what my eyes were saying. She faced Tatay. ''Asawa, hayaan mo na si Selene na siya lang'' paglalambing ni Nanay.

Tatay was eyeing Nanay. Thinking. Tatay kissed Nanay's forehead afterward. ''But, baby... Baka may mangyari sa kanya''

''Tatay, kasama ko si Kuya Hector at si Ate Issa'' I inserted.

Tumingin sa akin si Tatay, kumunot ang noo niya. ''Issa? Is she okay to go out? I mean she's a model, right?''

I nodded. ''Okay lang naman, Tay. Si Ate Erin nga rin eh nakakalabas naman''

''But Erin can only go out if she has her bodyguard'' ani Tatay.

I pouted and sighed.

''Asawa, let her. She's with Hector, right? She'll gonna be okay'' Nanay convinced her.

Bumuntong hininga si Tatay and massage his temple. ''Alright. You want money?'' tanong ni Tatay sa akin.

Malapad akong ngumiti. My heart overflowed with so much happiness. I abruptly hugged them two.

''I love you, Tay and Nay'' paglalamabing ko.

Nanay hugged and kissed my cheeks. Tatay also caress my hair and kissed the side of my head.

''I love you anak.'' It was Nanay.

''Dalaga na pero palagi parin nakayakap'' asar ni Tatay.

''Tatay naman eh!'' Padabog kong sabi.

They just laughed and hugged me tightly. We were silent while hugging each other.

''Do you need money, princess?'' Tatay asked.

''I have my credit card here, Tay. Don't worry and I also have pocket money here. Nanay gave me five thousand yesterday'' sagot ko.

Bumitaw ako sa pagkakayakap sa kanila at inayos ang suot kong damit. Nagusot kasi ng kaunti sa higpit ng yakap.

''Selene, before going outside. Can you call Peter? He's in the movie room'' utos ni Nanay.

Tumango ako. ''Okay po, Nay''
