It was him, the hero I helped ages ago. Eraserhead.
I froze. Am I that unlucky. He might recognise my voice. Shit.
He glanced around the room. Staring into everyone's eyes, his gaze lingering on a few. Myself included.
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. It's kind of sudden, but put this on and go out to the field."
He reached into his sleeping bag and pulled out a PE uniform, giving one to everyone. How the fuck did he hide so many in his bag.
After being told where the changing rooms were, we all rushed to get dressed. While changing, I was introduced to the girls and discovered a little bit about them. In the end, we stopped talking and walked into the field, wondering what we were doing. We soon got our answer.
It was confusing. We were missing the entrance ceremony for a quirk assessment test.
All because hero's don't have time for things like that. Just great. I saved a grumpy, strict hero who is now my teacher. Perfect.
He quickly called the Pomeranian, known as Bakugo, up to use his quirk in a softball throw. Unsurprisingly, he threw the little ball 750 metres. Show off.
Looking closely at Aizawa, I noticed just how scary he looked. Most would think he was a villain. Blood red eyes with a constant frown. He sent shivers down my spine.
I started looking at the other students. Some of them looked to kind and soft to be here, others had determination. But there was one who just looked bored. It was the boy with the scar. What was his name again? I'll find out later.
We had been moved along to the side of the field. There was a small race track measuring about 50 metres. Some used their quirk in the sprint but still came last. Everyone was really fast. Each race ended in about ten seconds. Eventually, it was my turn. I was racing against Cho. I could use my quirk to beat her, but I'm only here to keep my parents happy. If I win, they will be pissed. I might have to purposely fail on a few tests. The bot caught my attention with its count down

We were off. She started flapping her beautiful wings, soaring through the air to the other side. Sparks of electricity leaving a slight trail behind her. She hit me with her wing in the process. Shocking me. That didn't stop me, but I did slow down.
"5.18 seconds"
"6.18 seconds"
She beat me by a whole second. Good. I just hope Eraserhead didn't notice her shocking me. Unfortunately he did.
"Cho Kaminari . Although you were fast, you hit your sister. I will be deducting points for that. You can't hit your peers. Even if it's accidental."
After that small lecture, Cho started with her typical pout and crocodile tears. I hoped he was finished talking but he wasn't.
"Kazu Kaminari. What was going on? You were holding back? Why?"
"Sorry sir"
"That does not answer my question. See me after class."
Oh shit. He could discover who I am today. What would I even tell him?
The other tests flew by quickly. I held back on all of them. The strength test, long jump and repeated side steps were easy to half ass. The ball throw was a bit more difficult. I could use the light to propel the ball forward in a funnel. It would make it go further, but it would blind everyone. Fuck it. I'll just ask them to cover their eyes when it's my turn.
Just before me, the green haired boy tried using his quirk, but was quickly stopped by Aizawa. The poor boy was given a really intense lecture. However, whatever was said, he concentrated his quirk into his finger, minimising damage. Quite clever.
His moment of glory was short lived as bakugo sprinted towards him. He was like a mad man in a war path, having to be restrained by Aizawa.
It was quite intense. No one dared move. No one dared speak. His anger made us all freeze.
Once things settled down, it was my turn. I needed to warn everyone first.
"Hey everyone. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I need you all to turn away. You will be temporarily blinded if you don't."
With a nod, everyone turned away. Even Aizawa and the curious All might.
Taking a deep breath, I raised my arm. Closing my eyes, I felt the light and shadows around me. Drawing the light close, I threw the ball. It was propelled forward by the energy the concentrated light gave off. The light grew brighter as the ball passed, then disappeared.
A sharp pain erupted in my body. Shooting from my right arm to my chest, then all around my body. It hurt. A lot.
A voice called out the distance, but I couldn't understand. The pain was making it hard to hear clearly. I made it back to the others without stumbling. They crowded around me, asking me questions. I just nodded every now and then. Appearing to be in my own world.
