Rescue

All Might was here. We would be ok. I hope. Some more explosions followed, probably from attacking that bird brain. It was the only thing that looked like could cause a problem. Finally, we reached the centre at the end of the villains explaining their plan. All Might was being dragged into a portal. Midoriya appeared and tried to help, but was almost pulled through a portal, yet Bakugo blasted the portal guy, pinning him to the ground. Ice covered the ground, freezing bird brain's feet and body, allowing All Might to free himself. Kirishima attacked the leader, causing him to step closer to the water, before moving to Bakugo's side. The portal guy started moving, but stopped at an explosion and a threat from Bakugo. We won. We're ok. But where is Aizawa?
"In addition to capturing them, they're almost all uninjured. Kids these days are amazing. They make the League of Villains look bad."
His calm voice was staring to get to me. He lost. His army is gone, his ace is unable to fight, his only way to escape is pinned down. Yet he is so calm. Somethings not right.
"Nomu"
With that word, the bird brain started moving. So that's what it's called. Nomu. When it pulled itself out of the portal, it's frozen limbs shattered. Yet, it still kept moving. The ice at its joints shattering, making way for muscle and tissue to regrow. The fight was still on.
It all happened in a second. Bakugo was moved away from Nomu's path, and All Might took a punch for him. Once the smoke had cleared, All Might's strained body could be seen clearly.
"Do you not know how to hold back?"
"It was to rescue my companions. I had no choice. I mean, earlier, that... that plain-looking one. He was able to punch me with everything he had, you know. Violence for the sake of others makes it admirable. Isn't that right, hero? You know what, All Might? I'm angry. I'm angry at this world that categorizes the same violent acts as heroic or villainous, deciding what's good and what's bad. 'Symbol of Peace'? Ha. You're just a device to repress violence. Violence only breeds violence. The world will know this once we kill you!"
He has a point. I save people, yet I'm considered a villain. Heroes can be as violent as they want, but no one else can, all because they don't have a fancy title. It's not fair, but neither is life. This guy needs to accept that.
"That's preposterous. The eyes of white-collar criminals like you burn silently. You just want to enjoy this yourself, don't you, you liar?"
Well done All Might. Piss of the lunatic who could cause your death. That's such a good idea.
"It's three against five"
"Kacchan already exposed the fog's weakness!"
"These guys are crazy, but if we back up All Might, we can push them back!"
Bakugo, Midoriya, Todoroki and Kirishima all got ready to fight. But stopped when All Might told us to run.
"You would have been in trouble if I hadn't done anything earlier, right?"
"That was a different story, Young Todoroki. Thanks. But it's fine! Just watch as a pro gives it everything he's got."
The hands guy started running at the guys, hands ready to attack. I don't think so. Running into his path, I grabbed his wrist, flipping him over my shoulder and onto the floor. As he lay there stunned, a portal appeared beneath him, taking him away. The Nomu and All Might ran at each other, fists colliding in a powerful punch. The force shaking the ground and sending us all flying away. They continued to punch each other. Their moves mirrored perfectly. Soon, their attacks became too quick to see. We couldn't tell who was winning. That was until the Nomu was thrown backwards, sending rubble across the building. It was thrown about, yet kept getting back up. With one last powerful punch, the Nomu was sent flying into the air. A blur of black as it broke the glass ceiling, flying out of sight.
"I really have gotten weaker. In my prime, five hits would've been enough. But it took more than 300 hits. Now, villains...I'm sure we'd all like to end this as soon as possible."
"What's wrong? You're not coming? You said you'd 'clear' this or something, right? Come and get me if you can"
All Might's voice was dangerously low. He's very tone daring the villains to try again. It was terrifying. He was even more intimidating than normal.
"Well? What's wrong?"
The hands guy started scratching at his neck, flakes of scarred skin falling off.
"If only I had Nomu... that guy would've been able to go up against him without thinking about anything!"
"Tomura Shigaraki! Please calm yourself. Looking carefully, I can see that he was definitely weakened from the damage of Nomu's attacks. Besides, the children seem to be frozen in fear. We still have underlings who can be used. There are likely only a few minutes left before reinforcements come. If you and I work together, we still have a chance of killing him."
Shigaraki stopped scratching him neck and started talking. The words too quiet to be heard. Then, he ran at All Might, yelling about revenge for Nomu. Midoriya went flying to his side, trying to help by getting the warp guy. Instead, a portal opened up, Shigaraki's destructive hand coming through, about to touch and destroy Midoriya's face.
The sound of a gun firing echoed through the walls. The bullet going through Shigaraki's hand. The heroes were here. We were safe.
"Sorry, everyone. Sorry we're late! I gathered all who were immediately available."
That was the principal. That means the heroes were here. We were safe. The heroes quickly captured the villains. Every single one except Shigaraki and the portal guy. Other than Midoriya, Thirteen and Aizawa, there weren't any major injuries. With that over, I would need to see Aizawa when he woke up. But for now...where the fuck was Denki?
