The next day, they allowed Wei Ying to sleep in for as long as he damn well pleased.

While he was still sleeping under two friendly inner-clan-member's protection and observation, the group discussed how to make the sheer trauma of re-entering the Burial Mounds to a minimum.

Jiang Cheng sighed, rubbing his face, "Well, we will all be there so he will be protected, nothing at all can harm him if we all make sure of it." He said, looking down at his empty fists, "Having to use spare swords will be a problem... but we can manage, for him."

Yanli nodded, sympathetically patting Jiang Cheng's shoulder, "I'll send a letter to Wen Qing, we might need her if one of us gets injured or... A-Xian... is affected badly."

Lan Xichen shook his head, "As convenient as it would be to have her there, it would be too dangerous if someone intercepted the message and led Wen Ruohan and his sons straight to Wei Wuxian and the Stygian Tiger Amulet."

Madam Yu huffed, shaking her sword, "I'll cut them open before they even look at Wei Wu- A-Xian again!" She declared, ignoring the fact that even she did not have that power, after all, that is why Wei Ying had to do this.

Yanli grinned a little, shaking his head, "There is also the worry..." She bit her lower lip nervously, eyes flickering to the youngest twin jade, "What if... the Burial Mounds brings the Shadow Lan Wangji back?"

Lan Zhan flinched, looking down and closing his eyes.

Everyone seemed to flinch at the reminder of that memory, of that Wei Wuxian looked like pinned to the floor, terrified, crying his eyes out as a false Lan Zhan bit into his neck.

Lan Xichen pursed his lips, taking one of his brother's hands, "Some spiritual energy should send it away." He stated, "It could be difficult with how stuffed of resentful energy the Burial Mounds is... but even if we have to work together, it should not be a huge concern."

Jiang Cheng sighed, "It might not be a huge concern physically but that event broke my Shixiong... he was haunted relentlessly by it, it corrupts his dreams."

Yanli's eyes watered as she turned to her youngest brother, "Did A-Xian have a nightmare last night?" She asked, her voice wobbling.

Jiang Cheng unsurely shook his head, "I think me- or just someone, in general, being there helped, I can't be sure, but I think he had a little nightmare of it before Mother woke him up."

Madam Yu sighed as the group turned to glare at her.

Jiang Fengman clenched his fists, "What did you do?" He asked sharply, and honestly, she could not blame him for it at all.

"I..." She swallowed thickly, "I was reminded how before Empathy... I did everything I could to make sure he didn't belong in Lotus Pier... so I woke up from a nightmare and decided to give him robes similar to A-Cheng's and A-Li's."

Yanli blinked in shock, "You gave Xianxian Yunmeng clan heir robes?" She whispered, smiling widely when Madam Yu nodded.

"Well, Fengman and I were discussing adopting him officially anyway, that way he would actually be of Yunmeng but not only that he would become an heir to the throne." She said but could barely get the words out before Yanli gasped in shock.

"Y-You'll adopt him?" She whispered, a smile stretching over his lips, "He'll be able to call me A-Jie without prejudice?"

Jiang Cheng grinned, "I'll be able to call him Da-ge or gege, watch him make me call him gege." He snorted.
