I wake up to the sound of my alarm screeching in my ear, I turn over and smack my phone until it stops making noise.

"Bro, it is 6 o'clock in the morning. Why! Why!"

Hardin complains.

"We have class."

"At 6 o'clock in the fucking morning! Classes don't start till 9 so shut up and be quiet."

He covers his face with a pillow, what a fucking asshole. Wait a minute, I look down and see that I'm in my bed. I don't remember coming back to bed, all I remember was crying in the hallway. Who brought me back to my bed? Was it Hardin? That's impossible, he would never even look at me let alone touch me. Whatever, it doesn't matter. I have 2 hours to get ready before I have to get to class, I quick grab my towel before I go into the bathroom and make sure to lock the door. I take a quick shower, I brush my teeth and blow dry my hair. FUCK! I left my clothes on my bed, great! I look down and make sure that my towel is covering me before I slowly open the door, he's still asleep thankfully. I grab my clothes and sprint into the bathroom, once I'm dressed I lightly curl my hair and put on some makeup. I clean up the bathroom before I leave and hang all the wet towels on the floor. I grab my bag and my phone and check the clock, 7:30. I look over and see Hardin snoring, should I wake him? No, fuck him. I grab my keys and phone and head out the door, once I'm out of the dorm building I take a moment to admire the city. It's so beautiful, I check my schedule and see that I have creative writing first. After getting lost a million times I finally make it to my class, this is so awkward. Everyone is friends with everyone.
"Hey."

I look over and see that a girl is talking to me, she has chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes. He skin is tan and she has the most beautiful smile.

"Hi." Tessa says shyly.

"You can sit next to me if you want."

She points to the empty seat next to her, I quickly sit down and situate myself.

"I'm Kimberly but everyone just calls me Kim."

She extends her hand and I awkwardly shake it.
"I'm Tessa."

"Well it's nice to meet you Tessa, is this your first day?"

"Yeah, is it that obvious that I'm a freshman?"

"No, I'm just messing with you. You do seem a bit lost, are you ok? I'm a sophomore so I can help if you want?"

"That would be great, I'm surprised I was able to make it here. I've just been dealing with a lot."

"Well if you ever need anything here's my number."

She pulls out a pen and scribbles her number in my notebook. Her hand writing is so perfect, she uses a sparkly pink pen.

"Thanks."

"Of course, I was a freshman too. You should come to a party with me tonight, it will be fun."

"I don't know, parties aren't really my scene."

"Come on, you're in college now. It's at 10pm."

"Do you live in the dorms?"

"God no, I could never share a room. I live in an apartment with my sister, it's her party but I live there too so I can invite whoever."

"I don't know, I don't have anything to wear."

"No problem, I can help you get ready. What's your dorm number, I'll meet you there."
