The morning started off a bit chaotic but everything worked out, Hardin is just.............amazing. I can't believe he got ready just to drive me so I didn't have to walk, I was so worried about being in a relationship with Hardin because of his past but I kept an open mind and I'm happy. Things aren't perfect but no relationship is, he's trying and that all I can ask for. Last night was intense and wonderful and full of fire and passion, I thought last night we were gonna..............make love but then he stopped. I guess it was for the best that he stopped, in the moment I wanted him more than ever and I gladly would have given myself to him but I'm happy he waited. We still have so much to talk about and I don't know if we are at a place where I can talk to him freely. We  literally just got together and I'm not ready to tell him everything just yet, for now I'm happy that we are in a a good place and that he's in a good mood.

...

Once I get into the class I'm relieved to see that the professor isn't even here yet, this is my first day taking this class and I'm a little nervous. I sit down in the front row and take out my textbook, suddenly an old man who looks like he's in his 80's walks in and places his briefcase on his desk at the front of the room. He takes a marker and starts writing something on the board, once he's finished writing I read it. Mr. Churn.

"Hello class, my name is Mr. Churn and I will be your professor this year for child development and abuse. Now don't let your eyes deceive you, I way be an old fart but I'm still up to date with all you teens." The old man laughs.

He is so sweet, his joke makes me laugh.

"So let's get popping as you youngsters say with our lesson of the day. Now can anyone tell me what the three different types of abuse are?"

I look around and see that no one has their hand raised, I slowly raise my hand. The old man looks at me and smiles.

"Yes, the lovely young lady in the front. What's your name?"

"Tessa, Tessa Young."

"Tessa, can you tell me what the three different types of abuse are."

"Yes, physically, mentally and sexually."

"Very good Miss. Young, now by a show of hands can you all raise your hands if you have faced any types of abuse."

I look around and see that no one raises their hand, I slowly raise my hand and see everyone look at me. The teacher looks at me and lightly nods his head which signals me to lower my hand.

"Miss Young is the only one here who gets an A of our first test." The old man says sweetly.

The class starts talking and I over hear them complaining.

"Why does she get an A? She didn't even do anything." Someone shouts from the back of the class.

"Miss Young gets an A because she is the only student here who is honest, now weather you all would like to admit it or not you have all at some point in your lives faced some kind of abuse. Miss Young was the only honest one, if you all want to pass my class I recommend you all open your mind and be honest with yourself and be honest with me. Now everyone open your books to page 1, the student who shouted about Miss Young can read aloud to the class please."

The guy from before starts reading. The rest of the class goes quickly and before I know it Mr. Churn dismisses the class. As I pack up to leave I hear him call my name.

"Good work today Miss. Young."

I turn around and face him.

"Thank you sir but all I did was answer a question and raise my hand."
