Hardin Chapter 50

This week has been a little hectic, Tessa and I have been crazy busy and I feel like I've barely seen her. I'm so proud of the role she's taken on this project with Steve, he left her in charge and I can tell how important this all is to her.
I know how much of a perfectionist she is so I know she won't rest until everything is perfect which is why I have a surprise planned for her. She's been working so hard that she's barley had time to breath, we've barley had time together so I planned something special for tonight. I was gonna tell her but she has to leave for her meeting with Josh.

I hate Josh with a burning passion.

He's such a twat.

While Tessas at her meeting I go back to my office and work on my chapters, I have 50 done so far. Hopefully I can have the whole book done soon, Tessa keeps begging to read it but I just can't let her. Not yet anyways.

While I work on my next chapter I look at the clock and see that it's time for much, I'm about to text Tessa to ask what she wants when suddenly Sam comes running into the room.

"You know you could knock Sam, I could have been doing something in here."

"Like what?" She questions with her arms crossed.

Shit.

"Doesn't matter, what do you want?"

"We have a MAJOR PROBLEM!"

"Let me guess, Tessa ran out of candy?"

"No."

She rolls her eyes.

"Tessa is going on a date!"

I quickly stand from my chair.

"What! Sam that's not possible."

"Then how come I just saw her leave for lunch with some guy?"

"Sam you're wrong."

"Oh really."

She opens her backpack and pulls out her I pad.

"Look, I took a picture of them in the hallway. You think he poisoned her with a spell to make her go out with him? Or maybe worse, maybe he gave her an apple."

Sometimes I forget that she's 8, way to document all the important parts.

"That's Josh, why the hell is she going to lunch with Josh?"

"Hardin you have to do something, he's stealing your girl."

"Sam calm down, Tessa would never do that to me."

"I'm worried about Tessa, I saw that guy kissing Kelly in the supply closet 2 hours ago, and then I saw him kissing April in the printer room! And then he was kissing Megan in her office! He's trying to date everyone on this floor, you gotta help Tessa! Who else is gonna give me candy?"

"Calm down Sam, candy isn't the important part here."

I reach for my phone to leave her a message.

"How long ago did they leave?" I ask.

"I don't know, 10 minutes?"

I quickly leave my office and walk to Tessa's, I open her door and look around her office. I had hopped that Sam was wrong, I had hope that Tessa was still here. I sit in her chair, I check my phone and see that she hasn't answered my messages.
