The room door slams, I look down at the broken fragments of our relationship and realize how big of a mistake I made. I run to the door and run into the hallway but she's already gone, I try to stop the elevator but the door closes before I get to it. I take the stairs to the bottom floor but by the time I get outside she's nowhere to be found. I shouldn't have told her to leave, I shouldn't have broken her stuff. I'm such an awful person.

When I get back to the room I stare at her broken things on the ground, I bend down and start picking up the broken pieces of glass. I end up cutting my hand on the glass, at first I thought that it was a tiny cut but it starts bleeding a lot. I manage to clean up all the glass and set it aside, I pick up her broken laptop and place it on my desk. How am I gonna fix this? She's never gonna forgive me, I didn't know about her grandfather. She told me bits and pieces but I never knew the full the story. I knew he died but she wouldn't share more than that, I'm such a fucking idiot. The pictures make this so worst, I think the part that really shows what kind of man I am is the fact that she begged me not to break the snow globe and I still did.

She told me she didn't love me, no one has ever said that they did love me in my whole entire life so hearing the one person that I actually opened my heart to say that they didn't love me killed me. I don't know what love feels like but with Tessa she opened my heart to the possibility that I could care for another. I know that what I feel for her is love and to know that she doesn't feel the same absolutely kills me.

I need to find a way to fix this laptop.

After staring at this broken piece of shit for much too long I decide to deal with this problem tomorrow. Her laptop was crappy anyway, it's so old and bulky.

I go to the bathroom and wash my hand, once the blood is washed away I see how deep the cut is. Fuck! I lay in my bed and check my phone, zero messages and no calls. I shut off my phone and try to sleep, I need sleep.

...

Next morning.

I wake up to an empty bed and rain, as an instinct I reach for Tessa but it takes me a while to realize that she isn't here. I had hoped it was all a dream but sadly the remains of her broken laptop still sit on my desk and her bed is still freshly made which means she never came back last night. Who did she stay with?

I take a shower and let the water run through my cut, this shit is so deep. I guess I deserve it, what I did to Tessa was unacceptable.

Once I'm finished I get dressed and clean up the mess, I put the pieces of the snow globe in a plastic back and slide Tessas laptop into my back pack. I grab my phone and wallet before I leave the room. I have classes today but I have bigger things to worry about, I drive to the school and go to the computer Science classroom. I don't take this class but I'm hoping one of these nerds can fix Tessas laptop. I walk into the class and see that it's empty except for a few seats, one of the guyslooks up at me.

"Uh.......this class is over."

"I'm not here for class, I need...................help."

"Do I even know you?" He says nervously.

"No, that's not important. Are you good with computers?" I ask.

"Yeah."

"Good."

I walk up to him and pull Tessas laptop out of my backpack, I place it on the table.

"Fix it." I say.

He looks at the laptop before he looks back up at me.

"You're joking right?"

"No, fix it."
