She draws hearts and stars on my cast with colorful marks, I can't help but just stare at her. She has the biggest smile on her face.

"What the hell is that?"

I point to a green blob on my cast.

"It was supposed to be a tree but I messed up."

She giggles and covers her mouth with her hand.

"I'm gonna hire a new artist, what is this rubbish?" I tease.

"Hey, I'm trying my best. I'm not a drawer, hold on I'll fix it."

She grabs a black maker and draws a smiley face in the blob.

"Boom, now it's a a smiley face."

She laughs, I look up at her and see her biting her lip while she draws more hearts with a purple marker.

"This is fun." She says with a soft giggle.

She looks up at me.

"What wrong?" She asks.

"Nothing.............I just like to see you happy." I say.

With our warning she jumps on top of me and crawls into my lap, she straddles me and I place my hands on her hips. She runs her fingers through my hair before she leans in and kisses me.

"I'm always happy when I'm with you." She says.

I hope she means that.

"Tessa we haven't really talked about what happened."

"About what?"

I hate to spoil the playful nature between us but sooner or later we were gonna have to talk about what happened.

"About your laptop and.................the snow globe." I say softly.

"Oh." She says.

The mood is immediately changed and the smile that was once on her face is gone. I shouldn't have said anything, she tucks her hair behind her ears.

"We don't have to talk about it." She says quietly.

"Yes, we do."

"It's fine, it's not a big deal." She says.

"Yes it is, what I did wasn't right. I'm so sorry."

"It doesn't matter Hardin."

"Yes it does, I shouldn't have broke your stuff. I regret it."

She climbs off my lap and sits on the edge of the bed.

"It doesn't matter anymore, what's done is done."

I sit next to her.

"I really am sorry."

"I know, it's ok. I forgive you."

She gives me a faint smile, how could she possibly forgive me?

"How? How can you forgive me?" I ask.

She looks at me with glossy eyes.

"Because I love you." She says.

I don't deserve her, I get up from her bed and walk to my side of the room. I reach under my bed and pull out the two boxes, I walk up to her.

"I feel really bad about what I did, I know ill never be able to make it up to you but I still wanted to get you something."

"You didn't need to get me anything Hardin."

I sit next to her and place the box on her lap.

"Yes I did."

She carefully opens the box and her face light up.
