Hardin Chapter 4

I can see the embarrassment wash over her face as the word rolls of Sam's tongue, to be honest I'm not surprised that she's a virgin. She has this innocence to her that drives me absolutely fucking crazy, she's like a bunny. I could tell that she was "pure" since the moment I saw her, she's so soft. Her gaze and the way she views things. When she picks something up its with such a delicate touch, its as if she's afraid to break it. She so gentle, I'm not gentle at all. I break everything I touch, I need to stay away from her. What am I even saying? She is just another random girl, she isn't special and I'm making such a big deal out of this. Once Sam starts laughing Tessa runs for the door.

"That's so embarrassing, whos a virgin in college?" Sam says while takes a puff from her vape.

"Its not a big deal Sam, you're just jealous cus she's waiting for the right person and you gave it away to the first guy that looked at you." Kim fires while she holds Gavin's hand.

"What did you just say? You better shut the fuck up Kim, just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you're any better than me. You're no virgin either."

"Yeah well at least I'm actually in a relationship with someone that actually cares for me and doesn't use me for sex or blow jobs. You can pretend all you want but we all know that Hardin doesn't give a fuck about you."

Sam looks at me but I don't know what she expects me to say, I told her from the beginning that I don't get attached and that I don't do relationships.

"Whatever Kim, I don't care about Hardin either. I don't need a relationship, they are over rated."

She gets up and sits in Tessa's empty spot on the couch.

"You only say that cus no guy has ever liked you enough to actually want a relationship, you better stay away from Tessa because she is my friend and I won't let you bully her because you are disappointed with how your life turned out. Come one Gavin."

They stand up and walk into Kim's room. I fucking hate Kim but I have to give it to her, she really knows how to put Sam in her place. I hope Tessa gets back to the dorm ok, no I don't.

"Who does she think she is to talk to me like that?" Sam complains as she picks up Tessa's cup and chugs it.

"Your sister." Hardin says.

"Step sister, that bitch is no one to me. I'm gonna make her pay for saying that."

"Who cares about your sister, I'm more intrigued by Tessa. She's a virgin, I can change that." Chase says while he smirks.

"Please, as if you had a chance. Zach has a better chance than you." Sam laughs.

"Hardin lives with the girl, and I don't wanna "take her virginity" just to take it. She has a boyfriend." Zach says as he drinks his water.

And this is the moment where I should have stopped them, where I should have said something, anything...but I didn't.

"Oh my god! I have an amazing idea, we should make a bet to see which one of you takes her virginity." Sam says with excitement.

"What? That's crazy." Zach says.

"I'm in." Chase says.

"Well if you wont do it Zach Hardin will take your place."

She looks at me, and I shake my head.

"I'm not fucking some virgin for a pointless game." Hardin says with ignorance.

"Pointless, its a bet so there will obviously be money involved. Each of you puts in 200 dollars and the "winner" takes all. I'll even put in an extra 400 just to make it an even number."
