I feel tossing and turning, I slowly open my eyes and see Tessa running around the room. I slowly sit up and rub my eyes.

"Tess? What's happening."

"We are so late for school, I forgot to set my alarm."

She quickly grabs her phone and a pair of jeans before she runs into the bathroom, I reach for my phone to check the time.

"Tess its only 7 am, its so early, come back to bed."

"I can't, my first class is at 8 and it's on the other side of the school and the walk is like 30 minutes from here."

She quickly puts on a pink hoodie before she puts on socks and slips on her trainers.

"You don't have to rush, ill drive you."

She turns around and looks at me with a confused expression.

"You would do that for me?" She innocently questions.

I look at her.

"Yeah, its not a big deal. I don't mind."

She puts her hair brush down and walks up to me, she gently grabs my face and presses her lips into mine.

"Thank you." She says cheerfully.

She kicks her shoes off and grabs a dress from her closet before she runs into the bathroom to change, while she's in there I unwillingly get out of bed and change into some jeans and the shirt she wore last night. It smells just like her, I love it. I lightly knock on the bathroom door.

"Tess? Can I come in to brush my teeth?"

She opens the door and gives me the biggest smile.

"Of course."

While I brush my teeth I watch her in the mirror, she uses a black tub with a brush and puts something on her eyelashes. She brushed her teeth before she puts on some lipstick and sprays some shit in her hair before she styles it. I just run some water through my hair and spray my cologne before I leave the bathroom and wait for her. I will never get used to sharing a bathroom but its not all bad, its nice to have someone around. Usually I'm all alone and it gets pretty.....sad. I never had a person that I could confide in, I never trusted another person after what happened and its strange. Tessa is like a breath of fresh air, she lights up any room and I smile just thinking about her. Maybe one day I can tell her about my "family" but that's too much darkness and I don't wanna shatter her beautiful soul.

She walks out of the bathroom and slips her white trainers back on, she's wearing a black dress with little flowers on it. She grabs her phone and goes to get her bag but I stop her.

"Its ok, I've got it. It's heavy because of these books you carry, I'm surprised your back isn't broken."

She giggles and the room lights up, I grab my keys before we leave the room and I lock the door. We walk to my car and I open the door for her. I start the car.

"What building are you in?"

"Building C, I have child development class."

"Child development class? What the fuck is that?"

"It's a class about children and abuse and stuff, I have to take it because I'm a psychology major."

"Oh."

"You never told me what you major in." She says softly.

"English."

"Oh, that makes sense. No wonder you have so many books."

"Yeah, reading is like an escape for me....never mind forget I said that....its weird" He says quietly.

"It's not weird, I like to read too." She says sweetly.

"Really? So you read and you like theater and you major in psychology, I found myself a little nerd." He teases.

"I'm not a nerd, well maybe a little bit." She smiles.

"Its alright Theresa, smart is sexy." I wink at her.

"So what classes do you have today?" She questions.

"None, I don't have any."

She looks at with kind eyes.

"Wait, so you got up early and got dressed just to drive me? You could have slept in and stayed in bed."

"I really don't mind, and plus the bed in empty without you."

"You didn't have to do that for me Hardin, I know you like sleeping in."

"Yeah well I like you more."

She leans in and places a kiss on my cheek and the rest of the drive is silent, once we get to the building she leans over the seat and pecks my lips.

"Thank you for driving me, I really appreciate it."

She runs up to the building, before she walks inside she turns around and waves at me. She's cute. I drive back to the dorm and lay back on my bed, I'm so exhausted. I have never woken up this early for school in my life, that's why I scheduled all my classes for the afternoon. I begin to slowly fall back asleep when suddenly I hear a knock at the door, dear lord. All I want is sleep but apparently that's too much to fucking ask for. I get up and open the door, when I open it I see Sam leaning against the wall wearing a skin tight black dress.

"Why are you here?"

"What do you mean?" Sam questions.

"Sam I don't have time for your bullshit today, what do you want?"

She pushes past me and walks into the room, she looks around before she sits on Tessa's bed.

"Get up!"

"What's the big deal? Its just a bed."

"GET UP!"

She rolls her eyes before she stands up and sits on my bed.

"Are you gonna tell me why you're here?"

"I haven't had sex in like days."

"So?" He questions rudely.

"What do you mean so, take your pants off and fuck me."

She pulls a condom out of her pocket and sways the foil packet in the air.

"No, now get out."

"What do you mean no?"

"Sam in not in the mood, I'm not gonna fuck you so get out of my room."

She stands up and walks towards me.

"This is because of that stuck up bitch isn't it, you got attached to the virgin mary." She laughs.

God I hate her.

"Sam just mind you business and get the fuck out."

She rolls her eyes before she sits back down on my bed, she looks around before she sees Tessa's bra on my bed. FUCK! She reached for it and grabs it.

"Now what do we have here? Wow, never would have thought that Tessa was the lace kind of girl. Did you fuck her already?"

I quickly snatch the bra from her hands.

"GET OUT! I'm not gonna tell you again."

"Fine, I'll leave. But you better start treating me better or your little "girlfriend" is gonna learn the truth about you."

She leaves the room.

.

This is fucking awful, every single time I think that there's a chance that Tessa and I can have a normal relationship I'm remined of that stupid fucking bet. As long as I keep Tessa far away from Sam I can protect her and she'll never know, I have to keep reminding myself that this will work out. Once I win ill make them swear never to tell her and then Tessa and we can be happy.
