2 Days Later.

...

Today Tess is having a few of her friends over, she's really excited about it. She hasn't shut up about it for the past two days, it's cute to see her so worked up about it. She's cleaned the apartment a million times and has about fifty candles lit because she's worried the apartment smells like sex, whatever the hell that means.

The only friend I know is Kim so this is going to be an experience for all of us, I told her I would stay in my office while they were over but she says that she invited Gavin and one of her friends boyfriends over. So I guess it's girls and guys night, I'm not used to this kinda thing but she's so excited and I don't wanna be a dick and ruin it for her.

She sets out cheese crackers and ham out with grapes and other finger foods, she sets out cups and plates and napkins along with wine glasses.

I just sit and watch as she runs around the apartment making sure everything is perfect, I like to watch her.

Once everything is "perfect" she runs into the room and gets changed, she walks out wearing one of my hoodies and a pair of jeans. She puts on trainers and pulls her hair out of her face into a ponytail leaving out her bangs, she sits next to me and takes a deep breath. I grab her and pull her onto my lap.

"I'm nervous." She says.

"Nervous? Why are you nervous?"

"I don't know.........I just am."

She lightly picks at the exposed flesh on her fingers, I take her hands in mine and stop her before she starts bleeding. I bring her hands to my lips and kiss them, a warm smile takes over her face.

"There's no need to be nervous love, it's just Gavin and Kim and few other irrelevant people. Everything will go fine."

"I hope so." She says with a nervous giggle.

I play with her ponytail, she usually has it in a bun or down. I like the ponytail, I like holding it. I wonder what it would feel like to yank it? To yank it while I take her from the back.

My mind wanders to much dirtier things.

"Hardin?"

I'm immediately brought back into reality.

"Sorry darling, what did you say?"

She scrunches her nose in the cutest way possible.

"What were you thinking about?" She asks.

"Nothing."

She rolls her eyes.

"Liar."

She leans into kiss me but a knock at the door stops her, she climbs off my lap and runs to the door.

Time to get this shit over with.

I stand up and walk over to the door, I stand behind her and place my hands on her shoulders while she opens the door and welcomes our annoying guests.

Kim walks in with Gavin, Kim and Tessa hug and I give Gavin a fist pump before I step back behind Tessa and rest my hands back on her shoulders. Two more girls walk in and Tessa greets each with a smile, the last person to walk in is a guy. He's about my height and has dirty blond hair, he has brown eyes and a creepy smile.

I move my hands to Tessas waist and pull her close to me.

"Hey Jackson, thanks for coming." Tessa says much too nicely.
