This morning was different, so different then any morning we've ever had.

I woke up to grey sky's and grey eyes, she looked so helpless.

I woke up to her sitting at her desk sitting in her chair with her knees tucked in her chest, I don't like waking up in a empty bed but I didn't say anything. Instead I got up and went close to her, she had her laptop open to the picture she showed me with her grandfather, she looks up at me with sad eyes and I knew that she would need me. I picked her up and brought her back to bed, she cuddled up next to me on my chest and I gently ran my finger tips up and down her spine creating goosebumps along the way.

After laying together for a few hours she looked up at me.

"Hardin................can we...........never mind." She mumbles.

"What is it love?"

"Nothing..........it's nothing."

"Theresa?"

She sighs letting me know that today isn't a day for bickering, she's being serious. I slowly sit up.

"What is it baby?"

She tucks her hair behind her ears.

"I was just wondering if you would be ok if we went to visit my grandfathers grave today?"

I pull her close.

"Of course I would be ok, why wouldn't I?"

"I don't know, cemetery doesn't scream romance and sexy talk." She lightly giggles but it's quickly replaced with a frown.

"Tessa I'm not just with you for sex, being a boyfriend consists of emotional support too. If you wanna go visit your grandfather I'm more than happy to go with you."

"When did you become such a relationship expert?" She lightly teases.

"Let's just say I have a good teacher."

She runs her fingers through my hair.

"I'm gonna get dressed." She says.

She pecks my lips before she gets up and goes into the bathroom.

I get changes in my regular outfit but I decide to dress up a bit, I wanna be respectful.

...

We brush our teeth before she gets changed, she puts on this beautiful black dress.

She look good in anything but this dress specifically looks really good.

...

After everything.

...

"I just need some time alone..............if that's ok." She says softly.

"Yeah."

"Thanks."

She disappears into the backyard.

I walk up the stairs and walk through the front door, I take my shoes off before I sit at the kitchen counter and cover my face with my hands.

"Where is she?"

I quickly jump up and see Mary sitting at the kitchen table.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She says.

"That's alright.............shes outside in the backyard, she said she wanted space."

She sips her mug.

"How did it go at the center?"

"Not good........shes didn't even remember who she was..............the nurses had to carry her out."
