Steven: Not looking forward to summer.
Me: How come?
Steven: Too hot. When I lived in Texas, the heat was brutal! Got up to 100 degrees!
SkittishReflections: Well, summer will be here, eventually. And, there's nothing you can do about it.
Alan: The Summer Solstice is June 21st.
SkittishReflections: Correct.
Steven: What I hate about summer, is the hot and humid weather, and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms in Texas were so nasty! Everytime, Texas got a thunderstorm, it sounded like a warzone!
SkittishReflections: That's how thunderstorms act in certain areas, Steven.
Steven: Not to mention the fact, that Texas got hit hard by Hurricane Harvey in 2017! Massive flooding! Texas gets way too many hurricanes!
Alan: Hurricane Season starts June 1st, and ends November 30th. Hopefully, it won't be too active this year.
Me: I hope not, either.

SkittishReflections: True! I have a birthday in the summer! Right after Independence Day!
Steven: The movie?
SkittishReflections: I was talking about the holiday, silly!
Steven: Ah.
