Days passed as Donnie was moving his inventions into his old lab, Memories filled his mind.

Donnie sighed, he put a photo of him and Aubrey on his desk.

"Would've been so much better with you here.." he mumbled and continued putting stuff back in the old lab.

"I forgot how much stuff you used to have" Leo was leaning in the doorway.

"Oh hush. Shouldn't you be helping the others?" Donnie asked his older brother.

"Karai, Solaris, Light, Shini and Akemi won't be back for.. give or take a few more days to a month, maybe. Mikey and Raph are hesitant on moving back so.. You're stuck with me!" Leo chuckled, grabbed a balled up piece of paper and threw it at him.

"Oh real mature!"

Coral walked by the lab when she got a piece of paper thrown at her head.

"Oh!"

The two brothers turned around and saw her.

"Oh, um.. How long were you standing there Coral?" Leo asked, in embarrassment.

"Long enough to see two adults in their mid 20's, almost in their 30's acting like a bunch of teenage boys." She gritted her teeth.

"Sorry Coral, we'll clean up." They replied.

Coral nodded and gestured that they hurried up. They immediately started cleaning up the mess, afraid of what an angry Coral would do to them.

"So, you moved away from New York... Your hometown, wanna talk about that?" Leo looked at him for an official answer. Donnie got quiet for a minute.

"Leo.. I just.. this was the last place I saw her.. and I couldn't.." He tried to explain but he started to breathe heavier and tears formed in his eyes. "I couldn't help her and.. I thought moving would've been easier and.. it wouldn't hurt as much but it still does.."

"You had to watch your daughter grow up and she is exactly like her, how did you think I felt? I was raising a beautiful little girl who is just as stubborn and as caring as her mother" They were both quiet for a moment, unsure if they should continue this conversation or change the subject.

"When should we tell the girls.. About their mom's? I mean, I tried to talk to Aubrey about her but I.. you know and having Karai tell them would make them upset at us." Donnie asked.

"Yeah.. Leah's tired of Coral lying about it. So.. why don't we tell them together?" Leo answered.

"But how do we know they're not gonna run away looking for more answers?"

"We just.. have to trust them plus, has Aubrey ever lied to you?"

"No.. okay, fair enough, we'll tell them during our first dinner moving back in?"

"I think that's a plan."
