Chapter 45: Target; Aubrey Hamato

The group carried on with their classes but the turtles were having a little problem of their own.

"So... How should we get them to become friends again with Tony?" Mikey asked.

"I wish I knew"

"Guys, give them time-"

"Hamatos..." Tony was in the lair's entrance.

"Tony? What are you doing here?"

"Look, I know I'm the last person you want to see right now but I HAVE to talk to Aubrey!"

"Actually, you aren't the last person we wanna see but she's in class"

"Dammit! This is the one place where I know she can't avoid me!"

"Wait, she's been avoiding you?"

"Yes! But I have to talk to her, I saw some gems, they were following her and she won't let me talk to her!"

"Well, she can't avoid you here so.. just wait for her and the others to come back from school and then talk to her"

"No, she'll just run and hide"

"Well, just try.. I think i know why she's been like this"

"Did she tell you what I said...?" He asked, looking up at them.

"Not that we're aware of?"

"I told her that I never wanted to see her again... I also said that it was probably best if... we never met in the first place..."

"Oh.. geez.."

"That's why she's so mad at me... I was mean and I didn't mean what I said"

"Well, at least you didn't mean it.. Look, she's gonna have to talk to you whether she'll like it or not, now-!" he started but heard the girls coming back.

"Dudette's I'm tellin' ya! We gotta see that movie!"

"Maybe another time"

"Dunce Face, not everyone likes movies based on video games"

"Ray m-makes a point, but we" she started then looked up and saw 'him'. "Why are you here?!"

"Aubrey, let me explain!" He shouted, trying to get close to her.

"Explain what? What could you possibly have to explain to me?!"

"I'm sorry for what I said-"

"NOT AS SORRY AS I AM! You said you wanted to be left alone, so I'm leaving you alone! Why can't you accept that?!"

"I said that because I was upset and angry! But I need to tell you something important! If you'll let me."

".. two minutes."

"Gems have been following with you"

".. what are you talking about?"

"They have been stalking you since the invasion! Which have been what? Since January!!"

".. that long?"

"YES! That's what I've been trying to tell you for the last, what? Week and a half!!"

"Oh my... Are you sure?"

"I wouldn't be trying to tell you if I wasn't sure. Now, if you still want me to leave, I'll be on my way-!"

"No, we need you! Gear up, we're going on a mission, now." Leah ordered.

"Alright"

Aubrey looked at him then ran off to get geared up.
