Chapter 67: Within the forest

About three months have passed since the invasion and a lot had happened

"It has been 3 months since the invasion, Leah was badly hurt, the turtles are..... Gone, thankfully we all took shelter in April's farmhouse." Coral was sitting on the porch swing, writing in her notebook.

"And since we've been here, we've all had to help out"

Sera was walking around in a straw hat, feeding the chickens while humming old McDonald's. She started to throw some chicken food out and pour out what was left in the bag.

"Serafina usually goofs around a lot but she helps so much around the farm"

"Okay, who's been cooking? It smells good!"

"Don't look at me, it was all him!" Casey chuckled and gestured to Remus, who was trying to avoid the attention.

"Remus has been bonding with the boys a lot more, trying to teach him how to be a man. I hope Casey is taking by good notes"

"Bunty, are you sure this will work?"

"Yes, just one more drop and I think I got it"

"Alright"

Aubrey proceeded to put one more drop of mutagen into a medicine bottle then it exploded.

"Maybe the next try?"

"Aubrey has been working on a mutagenic medicine for Leah with Tony's help and it's been going well.. mostly."

Ray was sitting in a chair, staring at Leah who was out of her Komodo dragon form and back to normal, Captain Ryan was crawling onto the edge of the tub and stared at her.

"Ray has been keeping a close eye on Leah, waiting for her to wake up, she has never left her side since."

Phillip and Lena were chopping up firewood with Nymph, along with Haley's help. This caused Coral to smile.

"That's enough firewood you three, take it inside!"

"I heard your boyfriend cooked again Nymph, you got lucky!"

"Oh hush up, I'm shocked Phillip! I thought you would be with Angelina and Denny playing in the river"

"Well, I wanted to help somehow! Plus.. Denny thinks of her as his aunty so, I may as well let them bond"

"You sure you aren't doing this for a different reason, like.. oh I dunno, trying to get our advice and get a ring?"

"Lena, shut up! You can't even commit to a hairstyle!"

"Shut it! So Nymph, since Mus spent the night before all of this happened, how is he in bed?"

"Okay, Let's go inside!" Nymph blushed madly and speed walked inside with Phillip and Lena laughing behind her.

"You didn't answer my question!!"

"Now I'm curious, how was it?"

"Nothing happened!"

"Lena, Phillip, and Nymphadora became close friends during these months, they remind me of Haley, Lovestruck, and Novo when they were younger but even while everyone is getting use to the life here, I Coral, servant of Novo Couture can't help but miss New York, the turtles, everyone... Hopefully Leah will heal and we will all go home soon but life as the Great Hamato Yoshi once said.... Must continue on" Coral sighed as she finished writing in her notebook then walking inside.

"Gotcha aunty!" Denny giggled as he splashed water on her.

Angelina laughed and used her tail to splash water on Denny.
