Chapter 86: The Creeping Doom

The next day

Casey was working when he noticed that Ray had a couple bruises on her arm.

"Hey, what happened to you?"

"Rough night, hey what happened after I left anyways?"

"Well, everyone got to talking, your mom, pops and Slash love her and.. t-that's it"

"Oh?"

"Yup! That's all!"

"Casey, honey!!" Luna shouted, walking inside.

"Hi Lulu!"

"Hey Aunt Lulu"

"Ray!!"

"What~? I don't get to say Hi to my aunt"

"I, um.."

Ray groaned as she heard Remus's voice, "Come on, Mus! This isn't fair!!"

"You agreed to the bet in the first place! This is what happens if you lose!"

"But did you have to bring your future wife!"

"Future wife Mus?"

"I qualify as your future wife, honey?" Nymph giggled.

"Well" he began with a blush growing on his face "Yes, future Mrs. Hamato"

Ray groaned as her joke backfired, "What do you two... lovebirds want?"

"I want a banana muffin and some orange juice"

"Can I have some ice tea and a chocolate chip muffin?"

"Sure" Ray grumbled as she wrote down their order to Remus's grin.

"Thank you and please come back with a smile!" Remus chuckled as Ray flipped him off.

"You're gonna do this the entire month, hmm?"

"Yeah, she lost the bet"

"May I ask what the bet was?"

"How about, I tell you what you missed last night, including the bet"

"Oooh, yes!!" Nymph clapped her hands excitedly as she smiled.

"So it all started when Ray left to go to her family dinner"

As the two lovebirds were talking, Light was busy watching her cousin.

"AKEMI!"

"Yeah Light!"

"Do the trick!!"

"Okay, okay!"

Light smiled as she watched her cousin practice one of her mother's tricks.

"Hey honey, what are you doing?"

Light poked her head up as a girl walked over to Akemi, distracting her.

"Nothing much, just practicing a spell.. whoa!!"

"KEMI!!" Light yelled as she ran over to them.

"Ow! My wrist hurts!"

"Honey, are you okay!!"

"No, my wrist hurts!"

"Oh sh**, Aunty is gonna kill me!"

"No she won't! But can we go fix my wrist?"

"Yeah, let's go!" Light picked her up and ran away.

"Ep!"

A few minutes later

"So, how do you know Akemi." Light asked, hissing slightly.

"W-We go to the same school, she's in some of my classes"
