Chapter 37:Family Secrets

The next morning

Leah was spinning around humming to herself, she walked into the kitchen as Leo, Donnie, and Aubrey were eating breakfast.

"Good morning..?" Donnie said, looking at Leah in confusion.

"Well, that's new, something good happened last night Leah?"

"Nothing New, dad!" Leah smiled and hugged him which was weird for her, she grabbed a banana and skipped out of the kitchen, past Coral.

"So.. we're just gonna pretend she's fine?" Donnie asked the two as he finished his toast.

"Maybe? Should I question it?"

Coral giggled and that got his attention.

"And you're giggling at.. 7 am, why?"

"Isn't it obvious, Leonardo? Leah has a little school girl crush" Coral smiled and made tea. After this statement, Leo started to choke on his breakfast.

"She what?!"

"It's normal, you acted the same when you met her mother" Leo started to grumble, realizing she has a point and doesn't want to admit it.

"How about we talk about this later, the girls have school" Donnie said, getting up to start washing the dishes.

The girls were walking to school with their dad's and they noticed that Leah dolled herself, she straightened her hair, put on light make-up, and dressed up in her best shirt and jeans.

"Ooh!! You look pretty Lele!!"

"Thank you!" Leah smiled, and continued humming a love song.

"Are you... humming a love song?" Ray looked at her like she was possessed.

"What? No! No way!"

Leah walked away from them, leaving the three girls behind with their fathers.

"S-She's been like that all morning" Aubrey spoke softly but loud enough to hear.

"All morning? What did she do? Fall in love with some guy at school?" Ray grumbled sarcastically.

"That would be so cute!! Leah is in love!! She's totally not the type of girl to like someone!" Sera said.

Aubrey and Sera continued talking about it then it hit Ray on why she's acting like that... Andrew.

"Oh hell no." Ray said, just quiet enough so that it was only her that heard it.

"Did you say something Ray?"

"Nope, but.. If the princess is in love with someone, who do you dorks think it would be?"

The thought of some random boy dating Leah made Leo's blood boil, no guy is or will ever be worthy of his daughter.

"Sera!! Wait up!" They heard a tiny voice shout, snapping Leo away from his thoughts of murdering anyone who'd hurt his daughter.

"Akemi, I'm not walking with them!"

"Well you said if the blue haired you know what isn't walking with them, we can walk with them! Clearly, I don't see her so you're walking with us!"

Light grumbled and started walking with them, "So... Where's little blue jay?"

"Up ahead, beware your eyes, she's acting and dressing weirdly"

Light looked up and she jumped back in shock, "Is she possessed?"

"Unfortunately not."

"She looks happy!"
