Chapter 73: The race that shook hell

The next morning

"What are you all doing?"

"Shh!!" Sera shushed Leah as she waddled over to the couch.

"Why are you shushing me?"

"Look Princess" Ray grinned as Leah gasped in awe, she spotted Remus with his wings wrapped around Nymph sleeping peacefully.

"Aww"

"They are adorable," Aubrey smiled, placing a blanket over them.

"They really are"

A couple of hours went by and it was dark, Aubrey, Lena, and April decided to go to the store which caused tension between the teens.

"Why am I sitting in the back?"

"Someone has to make sure the eggs don't break!"

"We don't even buy eggs! We have chicken!"

Lena stuck her tongue out, mocking the fact that she has the driver's seat.

"You always get to drive! I wonder why?"

"Maybe because a hybrid driving a hippie bus SEEMS A LITTLE SUSPICIOUS!!"

"GIRLS ENOUGH!! I would like one peaceful trip to the store where you two aren't at each other's throats!"

Aubrey and Lena got quiet, staring everywhere but April's seat.

"Thank you"

Lena kept driving then spotted a red camaro driving too close to her.

"What the?"

The camaro then hit her in the bumper, causing all of them to scream.

"A little chase huh?!"

"Lena, just pull over!"

"Get out of the way! Nobody forces Lena Vanderbilt off the road!

Lena pressed the brakes as the camaro started swerving around her, Then the camaro slammed into the side of the van, making the van swerve into a tree.

"Ugh.. everyone okay?"

"Nobody forces Lena Vanderbilt off the road, huh?"

Lena growled at the sarcastic comment and started hitting the horn.

Back at the farmhouse

"I almost don't wanna bother them"

"They've been sleeping all day, wake them up"

"But they look adorable!"

"Then take a picture!"

Sera took a picture and then leaned close to the couple, "WAKE UP!"

"Dah!!"

"Good evening!" Sera smiled as the couple stared at her.

"Evening?"

"You've been sleeping all day, chump"

"All day, geez"

Leah giggled as she turned on the T.V revealing a news report.

"A reckless driver qualifies as news out here?"

"Back in New York, everyone was a reckless driver!" Haley snickered as the three girls rushed inside.

"That's the maniac that tried to run us off the road!"

"You ran into that guy?!"

"More like he ran into us! Over and Over! We gotta go back there and teach him a lesson."
