Chapter 59: Vengeance is mine

Back with everyone else, Remus, Sera, Andrew and Aubrey were trying to comfort Leah, Ray was punching a punching bag and the adults were trying to help Karai.

"Karai, get out of the bathroom! I'm pretty sure every kid says that to their parents!" Haley shouted, banging on the door.

"Snakey just let me and Ray teach her some manners! I'm sure that'll make you feel better!"

"No! I've failed as a mother!! My daughter hates me!"

"Karai, no offense but I think she hates everyone!" April said, trying to comfort her.

"That's a lie Redhead, she doesn't hate her dad"

"Not helping, Casey! You will understand when you have kids!"

"Which is probably never"

"Oh shut up!"

"Light has been captured!" Leah yelled.

"What?!"

"Do we have to go help the brat?"

Karai kicked the door open, mama snake mode activated for her.

"She's my daughter. I'll save her no matter what."

"Leah, where was she taken?"

"The message said that she has been taken to Anton's warehouse" Aubrey said, showing them the message.

"This is my fault, you guys saved me and now they are using her as bait!" Andrew shouted.

"Andrew, it wasn't your fault!"

"Your cousin is in the hands of Mistress Metal! She's ruthless, she has no heart!"

"Andrew, please!"

"If you go in with no plan, she is going to rip you to shreds! Leah, I am not losing you again!"

".. Fine, just be careful, I don't wanna lose you again either"

"Ugh, this is too sappy!" Ray gagged.

"Can we save the sap for later!"

"Fine, get in the shell-raiser!"

Everyone got inside the shell-raiser and frankly, the adults were pretty impressed by how different it looked compared to how it looked when they were teenagers.

"April, you're staying here!" Coral said as she escorted her out of the shell-raiser.

"But I wanna help!"

"No, I swear you're just as stubborn as a bull!" Haley said, she closed the door.

"Ugh!"

"Aubrey, this is impressive! Is this a closet full of weapons?!"

"Yeah, it is!"

"I also have some stress toys right under my seat if anyone needs them!"

"Ooh"

Leah hit the breaks as they saw Metal on a motorcycle with footbots following after her.

"Oh no"

"Fire up the weapons-!"

"No, lights off and follow them in stealth mode!" Leo said.

"Dad, let me!"

"Trust me, we need to have the element of surprise"

"Fine"

Leah turned off the lights and followed them. Metal walked into the lair with Light chained up and duct taped.
