Chapter 88: The new Adventure

Leah stood in front of the giant window, she was quiet as she began thinking to herself.

"Captain's log, star-date.. no idea. The evil Quarren, a race of aliens, invaded Earth. They wanted to wipe out their ancient enemy.. the gems, so they used a black hole weapon that destroyed them and their secret hiding place.. our home. We lost our family, allies and my.. father.. it doesn't seem real.. we were only saved at the last second by mysterious robot called the Fugitoid.. who says he's an old friend of Coral's"

Fugitoid stood next to her, stopping her inner thoughts. Leah looked at him then began asking questions.

"Alright, Fugitoid or whatever your name is, what the hell just happened?!"

Ray grabbed his shoulders and began to shake him, "This has to be a joke! Right?!"

Fugitoid smacked Ray upside her head and started walking to the middle of the ship. "Calm down Raydiant. First things first, I have a job to do! Now please, I have a ship to fly with all of you standing around, staring"

"That is not good enough, where are you taking us!" Tony asked, holding Aubrey.

"Everything will be answered within time, now please hold onto something!"

No one held onto anything as Fugitoid started driving the ship faster than light itself. Which caused everyone to start screaming.

"Too late for that, apologies!"

"NOT COOL!! DUDE!!" Sera yelled as she and Lena held onto each other.

"Oh I'm gonna barf!"

"NOT ON ME!!"

Fugitoid came to a sudden stop, making everyone's head spin.

"Ugh, what just happened?"

"Apologies! I would assume hybrids would be use that type of speed"

"Well.. you assumed wrong.. the rooms still spinning"

Fugitoid walked over to the team, he gave them a moment to compose themselves then they began asking him questions.

"What just happened?"

Aubrey looked outside and gasped, "Earth is back... It seems to be approximately 6 months, judging by the rotation of the sun!"

"6 months? T-that means everyone's back? Including my father?"

"Yes, Leah but only for 6 months and then the world is doomed once again!"

"I get it... We stop The Quarren before they even come to earth!"

"Exactly!"

Fugitoid pressed a button on a window to show the black hole generator.

"In these 6 months, The Quarren are running through the galaxy, searching for the 3 pieces of the black hole generator. The Diamonds hid each of them so that they will not find it, we must find them first before they do"

"So why do you care so much?"

Fugitoid froze then turned towards them, "I will not get into details but when Coral first heard the invasion, she wanted me to step in if you all needed help and plus I've always wanted to see earth!"

"How do you know Coral anyway? She's.. never mentioned you"

"Coral always wanted to keep her life a secret, no one knew about me, not even your mother knew" Fugitoid explained but Leah recognized the signs, his dodging of questions, the way he spoke about Coral.

"Were you two.. in a relationship?"

Fugitoid froze again, "It was a long time ago... Before she knew your mother"
