Chapter 41: A girls heartbreak.

Even though it has been a few weeks since the failed invasion, no sign of foot or gem activity has been made. It gave the young teens to act more their age like today...

"Hmm.." Leo hummed as he meditated then opened his eyes when he felt something off.

"Leah?" He turned his head and didn't see his daughter meditating next to him, which was strange to him. So he decided to get up and look for her.

"Leah?"

That's when he noticed the other brothers were looking for their daughters as well.

"Girls?"

That's when they realized the 'so called' guardians of their daughters, Nightshade and Casey were straight up passed out on the couch.

Raph picks both of them up, and bangs their heads together, waking them both up.

"Ow!! What was that for?!"

"You two were supposed to be responsible uncles!" He growled.

"What? It's not like we saw the girls sneak out like 15 or 20 minutes ago!" Nightshade exclaimed.

"Because they were meeting Remus and Tony at Coney Island!" Casey yelled.

"Coney Island?! Why there?!"

"Can you guys calm down? Coney Island is just where the kids hang out" April explained as she got Casey and Nightshade out of Raph's grip.

"Sure! First it's Coney Island, then it's tattoos and piercings and next thing we know, they're in a ditch!!"

April smacked the four of them with a rolled up newspaper, "Can you relax?! They saved the world a couple of weeks ago, let them act like teens for once"

"Red makes a point, plus, don't you trust their new friends?"

"Remus, we trust but it's Tony that bothers me! I can tell that he's hiding something" Donnie explained.

"Well, how do you know Remus also isn't hiding something?"

"Yeah, didn't Snakey say something about the terrifying resemblance between him and Splinter?"

"It wouldn't make sense, Father didn't have another woman in his life"

"But I think he either hid it really well or there's another rat mutant that was a deadbeat father and terrible boyfriend to his mom"

"Can we focus on the problem at hand?! The girls are out at Coney Island with two boys who are extremely suspicious!"

"Then go look for them since y'all are so worried about them!"

"You three are coming with us, good thing Coral is out getting groceries today"

"Fine"

Meanwhile at Coney Island

"So, what are we getting on first? Or did you all wanna split up?"

"Can someone go on the roller coaster with me?! Please!!" Sera put her hands together, begging basically.

"Come on dunce face"

"YES!!" She smiled and allowed after the hothead.

"I wanna play on those," Aubrey said and pointed at the bumper cars.

"I'll go with you" Tony smiled and followed her.

"So.. what do you wanna get on, Leah?"

"I would like to play simple games, you know? Like pop the balloons"
