Chapter 85: A Quarren seen in sewers

A couple of days have passed, the team began growing stronger, Until one evening with the Mighty Mutanimals.

"Ooh, what happened with you, Nightshade?"

"Nothing much, Mondo," Nightshade chuckled as he was on the phone with Mondo Gecko, "Shouldn't you be paying attention to your patrol?"

"We haven't gone anywhere yet! Plus Ray said she heard you mention something about a lady!"

"That is the last time I talk to Raph with her in the room!"

"Ooh, so what happened! Is there a date in your future!"

"I'm hanging up now!" Nightshade chuckled, as he hung up on the gecko.

"Hey!!"

"Mondo." Rockwell groaned as he floated towards him, "We must get going."

"Okay, okay!"

The two mutants walked through the sewers, searching for something or rather... Someone.

"Rockwell, I'm not seeing much"

"According to the news, there have been sightings of some sort of monster"

"Nothing specific?"

"They said it looked like a woman, 7ft tall, it had long hair but at the ends were tentacles, and it had glowing gold eyes"

"What kinda monster is that? If it isn't a mutant"

"I can sense it nearby... It's not of earth, nor a gem but rather... Alien."

"Alien?!"

"It's nothing we have not seen before, do you remember Shadina? The witch"

"Maybe.. why?"

"All I'm saying there are more life outside of here, some might be more powerful than mutants"

"How could anything, or anyone be more powerful than mutants?"

"Have you forgotten the K-!" The mutants froze as they heard stomping coming from a sewer pipe.

"You.. don't think that could be Slash.. right?"

"No, he is having dinner with Raphael and his family"

"Hey! Why couldn't we miss patrol!"

"Because you have been ditching your responsibilities"

"No I haven't!"

"Yes, you have, now let's focus"

The two mutants began walking through the sewers, not noticing the mysterious figure following them.

Back at the lair

"Hey, I finally have the season finale of our favorite show!!"

Leah, Remus, and Aubrey looked up as Sera sat in front of the T.V.

"Ray's gonna be pissed that we watched it without her!"

"Raydiant had to go spend dinner with her family, I'm sure she'll understand!"

"Are you sure about that?"

"Speaking of family dinner, what about you Mussy?"

"My mom's relatives are in town, I love them but there is no way in hell I'm missing this final"

"Not what we meant but okay!"

"I know, me and my mom are good, she... just misses my dad"

"What did she tell you about him this time?"
