Chapter 43: The Warlock Curse

Back at the lair

Donnie was groaning in pain, his head was aching.

"Oh no.." He got up and walked over to Mikey.

"What's wrong?"

"I need to sleep, so you're in charge til Leo and Raph come back" He rubbed his head

"You sure?"

"Yeah..." Donnie slowly walked into his room and passed out on his bed.

Sera groaned as she struggled with her homework.

"Pop-Sicle! I wanna be as smart as uncle Donnie! He can always figure this out!" She whined as she face planted the table.

"Aww, you need help with your homework?"

"Yeah... How did Uncle Donnie get so smart?"

"I don't know! But since he moved here, I've seen him drink this orange stuff with his coffee! Maybe that's what he uses to be so smart!" Mikey showed her a picture of the orange liquid.

"This liquid?"

"Yeah, maybe it's an energy drink or something"

"I'll get it out of his room!" She shouted.

"Sera, I wouldn't drink it!" Aubrey exclaimed.

"Why?"

"Papa, drinks it for a reason!"

"I gotta agree with Nerdette, we shouldn't mess with his stuff"

"But I wanna be smart!"

"If you want to be smart then study with me!"

"Or! You could just ask us to help you!" Leah exclaimed.

"No way! That's boring! I'll do it the easy way!" She smiled and opened his bedroom door.

She looked at Donnie who was sleeping in his bed, then crawled over to the dresser and pulled out a round bottle that had an orange glowy liquid in it.

"Sera, put it back!"

"No way!"

Aubrey grabbed the bottle but Sera pulled it back.

"Just let me drink some of it!"

"No! We shouldn't touch it! You're going to break-"

Sera dropped the bottle and it broke into a million pieces.

"Sera!!"

"Oops, my bad!"

"We tried to warn you, Dunce Face!"

"I can fix it!"

"Sera, he had it for a reason!"

"What is going on here?!" Leo shouted.

"Um.."

"Uncle Leo, Sera took a bottle out of Uncle D's room and broke it!" Ray shouted.

"Sera, why did you have it?!"

"I wanted to be smart!"

"That's not why he has it! And it doesn't make him smart!"

"I don't even know why he has it," Aubrey explained.

"We don't know why he has it, just know, it doesn't make him smart"

"Oh"

"Now, you broke it! What if it was something that Aubrey's mom made?!" Leah asked.
