Chapter 95: The War for Homeworld

The next morning

"Coffee.. coffee.."

Remus dragged his wings out of bed as he walked over to the large table and grabbed a cup of coffee.

"Honey?"

Remus just blinked his eyes open and smiled as he spotted Nymph walking over to him.

"Good morning"

"Morning baby"

"Can I get some?"

"Sure" Remus handed her a cup of coffee and the two sat down on the bed, "Hey, I have something for you"

"Oh? What is it?"

Remus reached into his pocket and pulled out a chain, "Hold this for me"

"Okay?"

Nymph held the chain as Remus plucked out one of his feathers and tied it to the chain.

"Aww, honey.. what's this for?"

"Well, you gave me a promise ring as a way for me to know your always gonna wait for me, this necklace is a way for you to know that a part of me" Remus put the chain around her neck, "Will always be with you"

"Aww.. baby, it's beautiful.. now, you're gonna make me cry!"

"You're gonna make us sick" Lena gagged as she held a sleeping Preston.

"Good morning to you too Lena, sorry, we didn't hear you two"

"Don't sweat it, so the necklace is basically a way of claiming your property"

"Well.. I mean.. yes?"

"Heh, so you are possessive!"

"Don't start"

"Good morning, tiny gremlins" Shady dragged her feet into the living room, "Last time I share the couch"

"Good morning aunty"

"Morning kiddos, huh, a feather?"

"Mmm hmm!"

"You know back before I ran off with your older brother, in my old village when a feather is wrapped around a woman, it represents love and protection"

"Really?"

"Mmm Hmm, so it's sweet"

"Thank you"

"Alright, everyone awake!" Fugitoid beeped in the sound of a trumpet, "We have a long journey ahead!"

"Noo, I don't wanna get up.."

"Now, we will be heading to HomeWorld so wake up"

Aubrey covered her face with the blanket, "No, I'm a sleepy little hybrid"

"Even the sleepy little hybrid has to wake up too Aubrey"

"No" Aubrey ripped the sheets off of Sera and wrapped herself in them.

"Ah!! Cold!! Too cold!!"

"Bunty, please"

"Give me back the blanket A!!"

"No, sleepy little hybrid."

"Aubrey, I have your coffee" Remus said and gave Aubrey a cup of her favorite coffee. She took one sip out of it and immediately calmed down.

"Mmm... That hit the spot" She purred and crawled out of the blankets.

"How did you know that would work?"

"She's literally wearing a shirt that says, "Don't bother me until I have my coffee" I took a guess"

"Ah"
