Chapter 68: A foot to big

A couple of weeks have passed, Leah's chest and arms were healing nicely except her leg but besides that Aubrey and Tony have been drifting apart rather than closer.

"Hmm.. done! What do you think?"

Sera poked her head from behind Aubrey and stared at the music box she made with a picture of Tony and Aubrey in it.

"You want my honest opinion, girlfriend?"

"Only if you think it's perfect"

"It's perfect!! Also, it's dark, you were working late again!"

"Oh! Right, I'm so used to papa telling me to go to bed! I forget about the schedule" Aubrey closed the music box and sat on the counter, "Do you think he'll like it?"

"Yeah! Give it to him tomorrow!"

"Okay, let's head to bed!"

"Okay!"

In the middle of the night

Everyone heard a scream of pain and terror which woke everybody up in a panic.

"The hell was that?!"

"Kids, who was that?!"

Tony kicked open the door, "Who screamed?!"

"We don't know!"

Aubrey fell out of her room and ran downstairs, she stared out the window, "Strange... I thought I saw someone"

"But who screamed?"

"It was probably an animal kids or some dumb hunter got caught in his own trap again" Haley rubbed her eyes.

Until they heard that same scream again, only this time, it was closer.

"Okay, April! Get the f**king protection spell, Nightshade you guard the fireplace!"

"Alright, kids, get you.. why's there someone missing?"

"Damnit! Tony, get your a$$ back in this house you little vampire!!"

"I'm still in the house!"

"Then who is missing?!"

"How should we know!"

"I'll go get the scent and find them" Haley growled as she walked outside. After a few seconds she came back inside and started walking upstairs.

"I swear to god, if Raph's alive. I'm gonna cut his leg off." Haley grumbled, She walked past the girls guest room, over to the boys and pokes her head into the room and sees a mass in one of the beds.

"Get up, you little punk."

"I.. can't m.. move"

"Alright, what's wrong?" Haley sat on the bed, "Tell me or would you like one of the boys?"

"I.. legit can't move.. that was me screaming in pain"

Haley lifted the blanket, "Ah! Okay, Mus! Let's get you up"

"I already tried.. it hurts too much to even.. move"

"Aunt Haley? Is it safe to come upstairs!"

"Hold on!" Haley wrapped him up in the blanket and picked him up, "Ryan, you said you were a doctor, right?"

"Yes, why?"

"Help Remus, everyone else? GET TO BED!!"

"Why!"

"Just do it!"

"Well, who was that screaming?!"

"Yeah!"
