Chapter 89: What is Love?

The Next Day

"Well, look who wakes up first"

Ray grumbled as Shady handed her a cup of coffee, and she sat down at her station.

"What's wrong, Raydiant?"

"I saw Remus and Nymph being all lovey dovey the same as Aubrey and Tony! Who needs a relationship?!"

"Maybe your just jealous"

"Jealous, Aunt Shady? Please! I don't get jealous, girls get jealous of me!"

"Yes, jealous, maybe you do want a relationship but you don't wanna say anything"

"No! Relationships are for chumps and nerds"

"Sure, and yet look at your parents and how you got here"

"Yeah, Yeah, whatever" Ray took a sip of coffee then alarms started blaring.

"What's going on?"

"We are approaching The Quarren mothership!!"

"What?!"

Everyone ran towards the control room and realized that they flew into the middle of a battle between the Quarren and another ship.

"Okay.. what do we do now so we don't get destroyed?"

"Get to your stations, I'm going to have to try to maneuver our way out of here!"

"Got it!"

Fugitoid tried flying his way out of the battlefield when he hit another ship, causing both of them to crash onto an ice planet.

"Hold onto something!!"

Ray went flying onto the window, screaming and digging her claws into the window. "I HATE SPACE!!"

"SAME HERE!!"

"Ugh.."

They crashed onto the planet, causing the electricity to go out including the heat.

"Everyone alright?"

"Could be better!"

They all put on their suits and walked outside to see the damage on the ship.

"So, how bad is it, Fug?"

"Terrible, we need irrilium to fix the hole as well as the innards of the ships and judging by the temperature of the planet, it will be a miracle we even survive"

"Oh god"

Ray looked around and they all noticed that she was the only one not shivering.

"Hey, how come I'm not freezing, unlike the dorks"

"Well, your mother's abilities, it allowed her to change her body temperature so your body is naturally warm"

"Ooh"

"Damn, guess I gotta thank mama then" Ray looked around, she couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched.

On the ice mountain

"There they are"

On the mountain, there were two aliens, an older male and younger male. The older one has glowing red eyes, smoking black hair, and scars all over his body while the younger one had glowing brown eyes, and smoking black hair.

"The ones that destroyed our ship"

"Father, perhaps we should leave them be! It must've been an accident"

"An accident? They robbed us of battle and they should be destroyed!"

"But father-!"

"Come on, we're going."
