Chapter 53: The lonely mutation of Anton Smith

A couple hours have passed and Aubrey was in her lab with Tony, they were working on recreating Donnie's retro-mutagen but the problem is... Aubrey can't seem to figure out the last ingredient to the substance.

"Bunty... No offense but can we take a break? We have been working for an eternity..." Tony yawned as he rested his head on the table, he was awake all night as vampires do. But it was mid-day which meant he had to sleep.

"Oh! I'm sorry, Tony! I forgot about your sleeping schedule, you can rest and I will keep working-" She didn't have to tell him twice, the minute she looked at him, he was fast asleep.

Aubrey smiled and placed a blanket over him, she then looked both ways and saw no one was there so she quickly kissed her finger tips and placed them on his forehead.

"Maybe if I look through the drawers one... last time" Aubrey opened a bottom drawer and that's when she noticed a bunch of photos and a witch's cloak and matching hat.

"Oops, wrong drawer... Wait!" She pulled out the photos and the cloak and hat and found a vial of blood.

"Blood?" She picked it up and read the label, "April's Blood sample, hmm... Must be for medical reasons" She placed it down on the table but it accidentally knocked over and into her retro-mutagen.

"No... No! No! No!" She squealed as she took a sample and put it under the microscope.

"Huh? What's wrong?"

"I screwed up! Oh... Now I'll never cure your father" She sniffled as she placed her head on the desk.

"Bunty, it's.. wait, look at it"

"H-Huh?" She looked through the microscope and gasped, "The cells.... Between the gem shards and the mutagen they are reversing back to their normal state, we can turn your father normal!"

"I just.. thank you Bunty! You're the best!!" Tony smiled.

In the heat of the moment, he grabbed her from across the table and kissed her. Which is when the others came in.

"WHAT THE F**K?!" Donnie and Ray yelled, while the others just screamed in happiness.

This made them separate and look at the others, two were either shocked or pissed and the rest were happy.

"Um... We... I.... Y-You know! I-Is it hot in here?!" Aubrey stuttered as she passed out, her face was as red as a cherry.

"And.. Aubrey's broken"

"You... Laid you're filthy teenage boy hands on my perfect... innocent... beautiful... intelligent daughter." He started growling and his eyes started turning all black.

"Tony, I think you should run"

"I believe I should as well, Leah" Tony started running as Donnie started chasing after him, spikes puffing out of his shoulders and shell.

"DONNIE!! THE CURSE! THE CURSE!" His brothers yelled, chasing after him.

Remus just shook his head and helped Aubrey up and put her up on the bench.

"O-Oh my, T-That felt... Whoa!" Aubrey started floating with her pupils turning into stars.

"Dah! Aubrey!" He shouted.

Ray grabbed her and started dragging her down while Haley started laughing.

"This reminds of when Donnie started dating her mother, he would pass out then start talking gibberish!" She started giggling.

"Oh god"

"Wait! The retro-mutagen!" Aubrey stood up then fell flat on her face.

"You good Aubrey?"
