Chapter 72: The dream beavers return

A couple of weeks have gone and you can say the whole 4 months of staying at the farmhouse has been a nightmare but the real one is just beginning.

Aubrey was running away from something or rather... Someone. She made it to an alleyway but she then realized she was in New York but it was empty, quiet.

"What? This is impossible.... How did I-!" Aubrey nearly had a heart attack when she saw something run past her, "NO!" She continued running until she made it to a water tower.

Aubrey leaned up against something, it was large... furry, she slowly looked up fear in her eyes as she screamed in terror as the creature roared.

Outside with the others

Ray, Sera, Leah, Light, Remus were training together as well as Phillip, Tony, and Lena.

"So, is Nerdette coming down or not?"

"Couldn't wake her up so I just put Lena's dirty laundry all over her face!"

"My laundry isn't that dirty!"

"Girl, Aunty April nearly passed out washing it!"

".. okay maybe! Maybe it's dirty"

The teenagers laughed as all the adults started climbing into the car.

"Hey, we're going to the store, do you all need anything?"

"Just our daily female essentials so Phillip you need some extra make-up wipes" Lena laughed as Phillip smacked her in the back.

"Ah hush!"

"Ooh, can I get some spicy gummy worms! PLEASE!!"

"The store is tiny Sera, it's the kind of place that'll have peanut butter or jelly"

The adults drove to the store which ultimately led to an awkward conversation, Starring: Nightshade.

"So... April, Casey, do you guys have something to tell us?" Nightshade asked, poking his head out of back.

"No.. why?"

"Yeah, why do you ask Nightshade?"

"Just, it's about Phillip and Lena... Be straight with us... Are they your kids?"

"No, what? No!"

"Nightshade, what the hell are you getting at today?"

"Don't lie to me! The facts are all there! Lena is too much like Casey and Phillip is like April! Lena before she dyed her hair had dark hair like Casey's!!"

"And? They have parents-!"

"Lena was in the foster system! Just tell us the truth!"

"Nightshade, you have lost your damn mind!" Haley shouted, making everyone quiet.

".. anyway"

"Besides, the timeline doesn't fit." Haley mumbled.

"What was that Haley?"

"Nothing, look we're here!"

"Oh yeah!"

Casey parked the car as everyone else climbed out.

"More deja vu"

"Not helping Haley" April grabbed a basket and started placing the essentials.

"I'm just saying"

Lovey looked around the store when she spotted a broken book, on a coffee table.

"Ob.. Obturaculum Som.. Somniorum?"
