Chapter 28:The Plan in motion

"Dunce face, what are you talking about?"

Sera showed them the canister, "Pop-Sicle told me the story about how they turned into mutants! Isn't this the mutagen?"

".. dunce face might be right"

Leah looked at the driver, "What is your name? And tell me why do you have that?"

"The names snake and I'm not telling you sh**!"

Ray looked at him then snatched the canister from Sera, "Listen here, bub. I'm not in the mood for this sh**"

"I ain't in the mood for it either! Now let me go!"

Ray opened the canister and waved it above him.

"Listen here, bub. I was just an ordinary person just like my pops until we got hit with a little bit of this." Ray smirked.

"And why should I care?"

"Now, you could turn out handsome like my dad or crazy looking like my uncle. So let's play mutagen roulette." She started tipping it over just a little bit. Soon, some of it almost hit his face when he finally spilled his guts.

"Alright! Alright! They call themselves the Diamonds! They've started grabbing scientists all over the city!"

"This is perfect! His father is a scientist! I'm a scientist, he's going to like me now!" Aubrey smiled a goofy grin.

"O.. kay, definitely not weird at all"

Leah looked at him, "You don't get room to talk. Where are they now?"

"I don't know."

Ray pulled out the canister and slowly started dumping it on him.

"They're taking them out of the city tonight but I don't know where!"

"Well, I guess we're just gonna have to hold you until you do know." Leah said.

"If I said I don't know, then I don't know lady."

Leah turned away from him, to think.

"I think we should let him go"

"Are you crazy, Princess?!" Ray snapped at her.

Leah looked at her, "Trust me"

Ray started to grumble at first but eventually caught on and smirked.

"Let him go, you two" Leah looked at Aubrey and Sera, the two girls looked at each other and let Snake go.

Snake immediately took this opportunity and started running away from them.

20 minutes passed by and the girls were in the lair, Leah was in the dojo coming up with a plan.

Leah had a poster board on the ground and she was drawing the plan.

"This has to work" She spoke with determination.

"Almost every-time you come up with a plan, it usually fails when you meet your enemy"

Leah turned around and saw Leo, "Dad, what do you mean?"

"When I was younger, your grandfather put me in charge of your uncles to be a team and every-time I made a plan, it usually backfired when I met the enemy."

"What enemy?" Leo looked at her and she understood what he meant, "You mean the night when mom..." he didn't say anything except nod his head.

Leah looked down then Leo spoke, "On that night, it was no different. Your mother was watching the stars." Leah looked up at him, waiting for him to continue. "My original plan that night.. was to ask her about growing this family and give you a little sister or brother one day"
